I have been looking forward to this show for months now. But honestly when I saw the Promo's and the little Skit . I was skeptical that it is another Saas -bahu show.
Up until this point we have that...A saas who is never happy unless some one is unhappy, who rules the roost with an iron fist and all the cash. A daughter in law who just takes everything and keeps quite , "Ji Maaji Ji Maaji", to keep peace she keeps quite. A son who thinks his mother can do no wrong and won't hear a word against her. The kids who wants to break free but really can't . They do Try. And of course a Sister - in - law who loves to cause trouble and play on her mother sympathies.
In a since it is a typical saas -bahu show. So far!
But What MAKES it diffrent...is the portrail. Dadi maa./ Shanti Devi/ Sahshikala...She is a trouble maker and you want to hate her but she is fun to watch. She makes me laugh and the way she dilivers her dialouges is superb. So far she is to me the most impressive character.
The relationship between Ragave and His Wife is sweet. They love each other and have an understanding. I think he knows his mother is not the easiest person to live with and also admires that his wife has not complained about it.
The Kids. Typical now a days kids with dreams.
Shivam is headstrong and has pride, but at the same time respectful. He surely wants to and will make somethning of himself and he loves his mother.
Preeti _ She seems to have taken after her dad. she obeys the rules and dose not make a ripple.
Nimmi - She is one to watch for. She speaks out for what is right. Although she seems powerless, she finds a way to say what she has to. Seems like She and Dadi maa are not exactly best of friends 😆😆
Sarla _ Typical unhappy soul, everything in life drags her down. Even her husband can't please her. She knows how to work her mother and dose it well. Behind her her daughter is just like her . Dramebazz NO 1 between them and Dadi I have no idea who is better!!

Finally Riya : A today's girl with a much more relaxed family that the Srivastavs. Independent modern and outspoken. Dadi will get a heart attack and this time she might want to leave the house for good!!! .
All the Characters have been introduced more or less, and the story so far is typical and pradictable...but none the less watchable. I Hope that we get to see changes over time in all these characters. in a positive way.
