Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to get engaged in February 2016?

Well, that's what the latest goss suggests

Deepika Padukone is all set to get engaged to alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh soon. Our source informed us that the two love birds have got an approval from both the families and are all set to exchange rings and make their relationship official in February 2016. The source further added that both their parents have met and given a go ahead for their relationship.

While talking about marriage the Bajirao Mastani actor said, "I am going to turn 30 in July. I had a different take on marriage, family and relationships. But I have matured. Earlier I was uneasy at the rate in which divorces were happening among professionals...I believed people were happier being single and marriage was redundant. But in past three years some experiences have changed my outlook." A few days ago Ranveer had said, "I used to resist growing up but it is happening very organically. I am 29 and have a very simple aim today. I want to be an honourable family man. I have been thinking a lot about settling down."

Though Ranveer and Deepika have never admitted to their relationship, their off screen chemistry and admiration and efforts to spend time with each other have spoken a lot about what's happening between one of Bollywood's most favourite jodi. Not too long ago, the Dil Dhadakne Do actor flew to Bangalore to celebrate Ms Padukone's daddy's 60th birthday bash before he left for Malaysia to host IIFA awards 2015 with Arjun Kapoor. We hear the Ram-Leela actors played perfect hosts during the birthday celebrations in Bangalore. While it is a norm for the IIFA hosts to rehearse at least two days in advance, Singh was an exception. The actor being a thorough professional finished with the rehearsals before he flew to Bangalore.

Don't be shocked. That's the latest gossip from tinsel town...

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been toying with the idea of getting married for quite sometime. While the two have been dodging the 'question' for years now, Shahid Kapoor on the other hand has already announced his wedding with Mira Rajput. But little did we know that another B-town couple has decided to follow suit. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Yes, we hear that the couple will be getting engaged to each other in February next year.

In an old interview, Ranveer had clearly confirmed that he is 'non-commital and does not believe in the institution of marriage'. He had also explained that he did not plan to get married for ten years from now. But in a recent interview, the Bajirao Mastani star admitted to saying the opposite. "I am turning 30 soon and I have a different take on marriage, family and relationships. Previously, there were too many divorces happening among the people I know. So I was sceptical of getting married. Now, I want to just settle down and be a family man," he told us.

Does this mean that marriage is on cards for Ranveer and Dippy? Our sources give a green signal too. "Ranveer and Deepika have been dating each other for quite sometime and it's not a secret anymore. Recently, Ranveer flew down all the way to attend Deepika's dad Prakash Padukone's wedding. Seems Ranveer charmed the ace badminton player so much that the doting dad finally asked Deepika about her marriage plans. He then asked Deepika to think about tying the knot soon. If not that, he has instructed the duo to get engaged because he feels Ranveer is the perfect choice for DP."

So when is the big, fat wedding happening? "Sometime next year," our source reveals. "The couple plans to get engaged in February next year and tie the knot soon after," the source added. Now we wonder if this news is true.
