If the reports are to be believed, actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently serving his jail term for illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, will be released from the Yerwada Jail in December.
According to a report in Bombay Times, Maanyata met husband Sanjay in the jail last week and if things go on smoothly, then the Lage Raho Munna Bhai' actor will return home this year end.
She confirmed the news and quoted to Bombay Times, "I met Sanju over the last weekend. If there are no glitches, I pray that there are none, my husband should be home in December.''
She added further, "He has lost more weight since the last time he was home. And he is more determined than ever to continue with his fitness regime. While his first concern is always the kids, his next question is to enquire about his friends in the industry. He tries to keep himself abreast of what is happening at the movies. He is upbeat and in a positive state of mind.''
Earlier, Sanjay Dutt was reportedly going to finish his prison term by August end-early September. Later there were reports that he would return by early 2016, given that he had extended his furlough during his wife's illness.
Meanwhile, Sanjay is said to be doing Umesh Shukla's next film after All Is Well' releases. He was also rumoured to be a part of Shuddhi'. However, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, KJo has clarified that they haven't casted anyone yet.
