It was after Kangana Ranaut said 'No' to Bajrangi Bhaijaan, that Kareena Kapoor chose to take it up. The reason behind Kangana declining 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' was because the role never appealed her. Now, when Kangana was approached to star in Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming film 'Sultan', opposite Salman Khan, she again could not take it up. Kangana had to turn down Sultan because of Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon. She added- "Yes, Sultan's dates are clashing with Rangoon and I am already committed to Rangoon!". Apparently, Kangana is also busy with her next film, Katti Batti and after wrapping it up, she has to begin shooting Hansal Mehta's next from August.
An industry insider revealed that "Aditya Chopra had personally spoken to Kangana about the role. Unlike other Salman films, the role of the heroine in Sultan is a lot meatier. Adi felt she would fit the bill perfectly and the character is rather heroic!"
It seems stars are not in favor of uniting Kangana and Salman for a film! We definitely hope that the jinx is over soon and we get to see the 'Queen' of Bollywood and Bhaijaan together in a film.
