A Sad, but True Story

i dunno if this story/topic is appropriate, but my hindi teacher told me this story. its true, but also very very sad. i wanna share it with you all. but please all, keep in mind to pray for the people to whom this incedent happened with.

my hindi teacher Mrs Poonam's friend (lets keep her name Preeti) got married into a rich businessman's family in india.As she was the only son's wife, the shaadi was done in a very dhoomdhaam way. Preeti was very happy with her marriage and very much in love with her husband. Preeti soon gave birth to her first child - her son. everything was happy, but then something that happened abt a yr later changed everything...

Preeti's huband had gone on a business trip, and was abt to return on the night of her son's first birthday. A party was kept and it was in full swing. The grand party had abt 1000+ invited guests since Preeti's son was the first boy in the family, among all his bua's and all. Everything was happy and singing and dancing. Preeti was waiting impatiently for her husband when she got the news that her husband was involved in and accident on the way from the airport and had died on the spot.

So distraught was Preeti, that she went into the toiletn and drank down a a whole bottle of harpic. The acid had fully burnt her gullet, and she was in a really bad condition before anyone even found her. They rushed her to the hospital. But before they reached the hospital, Preeti slipped into a coma.

During the following 6 months, Preeti kept going in and out of hospital. She had to be kept being fed through tubes. Preeti was fighting between life and death. And after 6 months, Preeti finally lost her battle and succumbed. She passed away.

During the 6 months Preeti was hospitalised, it was found that Preeti was pregnant for the 2nd time. But she unfortunately lost her baby due to that harpic incident. Preeti's 1yr old son had also died somewhere in between.

All this is a really sad incident, and i almost cried when i heard this story. i hope that you all understood what i am trying to tell you, and also pray for this small and happy family, that they may be reunited soon - in heaven, and the next birth, and every birth...
