Thats alright Avie , i was looking forward to answering riddles & having fun guessing here , i have lost touch with the books a long time ago.. anyways , i am putting up a rather modest riddle here , my first season 7 riddle 😃

Discerning excitement in the beginning was met with a disapproval,

But reasoning made it seem all the more reasonable .

The joy at being addressed could barely be concealed,

Past incident was never forgotten as it was revealed.

Goofed up while breaking the ice,

Came to aid of the chosen one not once but twice .

Here goes the explanation for my riddle..

Not much known

Until I was chosen

Anthony Goldstein was sorted into Ravenclaw. But little is known of him or mentioned until he was chosen as the Prefect for Ravenclaw in his fifth year.

Part of something noble

Until the end

Anthony also joined the Dumbledore's Army in his fifth year. He goes unmentioned in his sixth year but returns as a DA member in his final year. He also took part in the Battle of Hogwarts.

Helped the helping one

Anthony was one of the six DA members who assisted Harry when he was being ambushed by Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle on the Hogwarts Express at the end of school year.

Anxious I was

Eager too when the time came

Anthony was part of the revived DA whose members were hiding in the Room of Requirement and enthusiastically greet Harry upon his return to Hogwarts. He was really eager to fight against the Death Eaters and took part in the Battle of Hogwarts.

OMG .. yeah .. now that i think about it .. Dobby does seem to fit most of the lines , although i am not sure if he came to Harry's aid only twice or more or less than that .. 🤔
