Defending his comments Bappi says: "Last week our show's TRP was 8.5 and I am sure it will fall now. Mauli is a very famous contestant and I never expected that she will get eliminated so early. True, Sumedha is also from my gharana but I am seriously thinking of quitting the show."

Zee officials and Sumedha have already met Bappi to discuss the issue. "I know it is the decision of the public but without Mauli I cannot enjoy the show. I am feeling very bad for her," an aggrieved Bappi adds.

Nobody knows exactly what decision they are going to take but it is said that Bappi will be back in the show and Mauli will have to go.

In one of the earlier episodes, it was decided that there would be no elimination when all the three Pakistani contestants were in the danger zone.
