Nimboli better stay away from them

Akheraj and Kundan are dangers who are part of her life. She cannot do anything to get away from them because she is part of the family even though she is not given full rights of a family member.THere is no way she can avoid them.

Akheraj and Kundan are emboldened by the meek women in their household.Just because they are bullies that doesn't mean she should keep quiet and refrain from speaking out her mind.

At least while dealing with Akheraj and Kundan even if she takes a few knocks from them she will emerge stronger.

The very fact that Akheraj was disturbed by what that little girl said is proof enough that strong people scare him.

Mangala may love that girl but if the girl continues to live under the care of Mangala she will end up like Mangala.

The danger is more from the likes of Mangala who will suppress her fighting spirit and make her tolerant towards injustice.

I agree all of them stay under the same roof and she can't completely avoid them. But she should try to keep away from them. Coming to experience she witnessed those unpleasant events and even suffered because of them. Few knocks!? She would have died because of that beating and she was sick at the same time. I know she loves Mangala and can't bear if anyone said anything to her but why unnecessarily provoke that monster to beat her ?

Was she wrong in speaking against Akheraj in front of the police?

Nimboli saw Akheraj killing Gopal and was terrified. She was shivering with fever and I thought she would avoid going near and talking to him from then onwards. She should have kept quite when Akheraj was warning Mangala. Why invite troubles? Why ask him to beat her when he was warning them?

cool shes just a kid & doesn't know wat will happen if she says such truth bcoz she doesn't know wat sort of punishments r 4 such crimes.

An ordinary 11 years old may not know what will happen if he/she accuses a person like Akhera (even if it was truth), but Nimboli has lived all her life (as far as she can remember) with these people. She was subjected to cruelty so many times. So, she should have deduced by now what will happen if she goes and tells Akhera to beat her (instead of Mangala) or what will happen if she tells in front of everybody that Akhera is lying. Children do learn fast (that is how street children survive). Problem lies in the way creatives want to present all this. They want us to forget those 11 years and what would have happened there. They want us to presume everything is happening just now - otherwise they have even avoided to show scars of beating (burnt marks do leave ugly scars and Harki used to beat her with burning log).

Harki follows what ever her husband says or tells her to do. Does that make her immune to his violent ways?

Well may be it is like that - nimboli is getting beating from her childhood so she is use to it.
