Dr Armaan Mallik is probably the only iconic character on Indian television to capture the hearts of the young fans especially girls. The show itself was different from the usual saas bahu sagas prevalent on the small screen with hardly any negative character. Therefore it caught the fancy of millions of kids worldwide who watch ITV.

The punch was provided by Karan Singh Grover who made the role his very own with his strong signature .
