Watching Fame Gurukul has been an enlightening experience for many the world over, with due thanks to the media, through Sony Entertainment Television, &
the internet, through Sify.
Now, getting to the 'human factors' on this show – the contestants. Without beating around the bush, I'll say this much – Qazi is in the wrong place entirely as he has absolutely nil singing talent which, I believe, is the theme of Gurukul after all. He would have been very comfortable trying his luck as a performer on some other talent search programme. He has shown all
the characteristics of a Hrithik Roshan wannabe and would probably ooze talent being a rip-off of that star. (Although he's zillions of light years
away from even looking like Hrithik's extra thumb with that shaggy mop of hair & Pinocchio nose of his!)
The admiration he has received from the bharat janta is highly commendable, but it is something totally misplaced! His presence, therefore, is an obvious threat to the other true & definitely worthy contenders. Gurukullost brilliant singers in many contenders such as Arijit/Kirti/Mona, but Qazi prevailed, all due to the janta's (& Ila's)support, but that's TOTALLY
WRONG! It would come as no surprise if he were to become one of the fame jodi& that would be the last I watch of that programme, believe me! I think I
wouldn't be wrong in saying as much that even the jury has been swayed in their decisions due to the overwhelming public support this man's receiving!
Janta janardhan afterall. It's really pathetic to watch the real contenders singing theirhearts out with true love for music while this joker Qazi prances onstage squeaking his songs but eventually takes the cake, the
cream and, at times the whole platter!
The faculty, or, rather, Ila Arun inparticular, has already been swayed by her favoritism for Qazi to the extent of her lambasting capable gurus like Prasant & Padma as if theywere caught with their hands in the cookie jar! That episode was a very humiliating one for these gurus and, I believe, were they not committed to their love and passion for their music, they
would have walked out of gurukul! Imagine Prasant being told "Kya, khaakh sikhaate ho?" Is this how demeaning she, the headmistress, could have become? She was very condescending in her manner towards both of them, the
GURUS, for crying out loud! Even if they were students, this behavior of hers isunacceptable. But that's beside the point. The point driven here is Qazi. And, as of recently, his confidence due to the public ( and
Ila's)support he has so strangely generated, has turned into sheer arrogance which he openly flaunts, even during gala performances!
SUGGESTION:Sify should start a voting campaign with the intention that the bharat janta explain what exactly made them vote by the lakhs for Qazi –atleast the rest of the sane world could get an insight into their
reasons for causing the weirdest twists in a talent search such as FameGurukul!
"Singing is out, (public) sympathy's in" is what FameGurukul has eventually been converted (perverted) into, all thanks tothe voices of the hoi polloi
who gave us Qazi….
I very want to expose this write-up of mine, if only for the creators of Fame Gurukul to realize how such factors could jeopardize their project &probably make it as famous as only Haley's comet , after which –nothing….
Fame Gurukul, you started off very well, and, were it not for Qazi, we would have been witnessing the birth of a real fame jodi,as was the initial
intention, and NOT what it has now turned out to be:a farce, a "khichdi" of talent - Salty (Arpita), and Sweet (Rex-60%,Ruprekha-30% & Sandeep –10%)
with unwanted, but added ingredients of hot chutney(Ila Arun's temper), Sour'kadhi' (Qazi, of course).
Despite it all, I would like to commend SET & Fame Gurukul for having created such a platform for the upcoming talent of India, and would like to wish
theteam/s all the very best in the future!
My parting shot? ARRE, JURY AUR FACULTY HO JAO RAAZI, GET RID OF THIS QAZI!
