After so much crticising Emon and insulting him, he finially must be a very happy man today after Emon is voted out

yep thats true...but i honestly think emon and amit shud have been in the final 2....i dont think prashant is that great...neway now emon is out...its amit to win all the way!!!!

Amit Paul should win.

Prashant improved quite significantly, so one should not say that he is better or worse than Emon.

They made it to top 3, which is an accomplishment in its self. In a way they are all winners.

Also, I don't think it makes a difference who wins, others in the top 13 were also good, and music directors are going to take the people they liked.

I don't think so. If negetive comments really effected voting patterns then Prashant would not even have made it to Top 5 let alone till here. Apart from that i believe that JA has been the only judge to give his opinion is a well thoughtout & calculated way, eliminating biases. His opinions have seemed sound judgment to me.

Honestly I believe Emon & Amit should have been Top 2. But the reason Emon wasn't there is because people failed to vote for him. And people who love Prashant voted for him without giving a thought to whether his singing actually deserves their votes. They voted for Prashant the person and not his talent. He did improve tremendously from the beginning and sing quite well but comparatively he is a weak singer.

So there is no use getting mad at judges who criticized all participants without biases. The real reason talent was thrown out was because the janta failed to be unbiased.

There is no doubt that Amit is far far more deserving of the II title than Prashant. If it were Emon & Amit the competition would have been tougher and that would have been the real nail-biter, so i don't think the channel would manipulate the votes to keep Prashant in cause the show would be much more interesting if the decision was between Emon & Amit.

Just my opinion. plz no bashing me.

JA's comments definitely hurt Emon. Particularly II judges' comments I noticed had a lot of influence on people's vote. In India JA has particular group of followers. Religion and regionalism is a fact of life there as well. People in West Bengal hardly watched II so Emon didn't get a lot of support from there either. As we know that Prashant inspite of his average singing (getting votes from the Neapalese people and the Police force) will eventually win.
My point is, a lot of Emon supporters would have accepted his elimination without any grudge if awful, ignorant, degrading, humiliating comments didn't come from a formerly respected (by Emon's fan) man.
