extract from an article in BL - when Nishi's inlaws comes to know about her situation they are sympathetic to her feelings, but their kind gesture is misconstrued by their daughter-in-law. She screams at them and asks them to stay away from her. Nishi is obviously upset that she can no longer deliver a baby. She goes into depression and in a weak moment slits her wrist.
