I guess rekha might have got disappointed with katrina's terrible acting.She might have told abhishek Kapoor that she's not happy with kat's acting.Both of them might have argued on this and rekha might have left the movie because of this.

like i said, some producer can make a plot which goes like yesterdyear actress signs movie with younger stunning actress and then is overwhelmed with non acting of younger actress so she leaves film..
some might argue it would work to older actresses favour if younger actress isnt a better actor than her but..
