This just in, Anil Kapoor has refused to play Ranbir Kapoor's father in Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos.
After Govinda's unprofessional attitude cost him the film, Basu is on the lookout for a replacement. Anil's name came up but he's shown no interest in the film.
Strangely, Anil is perfectly alright playing father to Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra in Dil Dhadakne Do- but has issues playing Ranbir's father.
This got us thinking. Wonder if Ranbir's dating history has something to do with Anil's decision. Ranbir and Anil's daughter Sonam were launched in Saawariya, and were said to be seeing each other at that time. With fresh trouble, Basu and Ranbir (who are jointly producing the film) are tearing their hair out.
