This year, the tables turned thanks to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Previously receiving bad to ho-hum reviews, this ex-Miss World completely turned around her fashion game and with one stunning look after the other.

The hot mamma kept the drama for the end with this gorgeous Ralph and Russo couture number. Exaggerated ruffles, nude make-up - she looked just divine! Let there be no doubt that Mrs Bachchan still is the "Most Beautiful Woman in the world"

Another favourite undoubtedly was this Oscar De La Renta she wore to promote her upcoming movie. Perfect dress, perfect hair, perfect make-up. A deep marsala lip is now a Aishwarya Rai Bachchan signature, going perfectly with her radiant skin and classic Hollywood hair.

While this designer has always been a favourite with Bollywood ladies on the red carpet (Sonam Kapoor too sported a yellow creation a day later), this teal creation won our hearts.

With greens often touted as difficult red carpet colours, the sheer panels on this Elie Saab offered just the right mix of sexy and elegant.

Aishwarya did not dump her usual choice of designer by sporting a floral jumpsuit from Sabyasachi's latest collection. Unlike some of her younger contemporaries, she just made an otherwise overwhelming outfit look like it was made for her.
