For anandi, it is her work that is more important than even her children. Her children will only be distractions in her larger picture. A pleasant distraction. Take away her work, she will be another mother. Nothing special.
Where did she ever give an impression that her kids are a distraction?
Didin't she give up everything just to be with Shiv and be part of his life and made her life revolve around taking care of his stupid sister and his mother who doesn't think beyond her family and home?
These two women who don't even measure upto her stature in terms achievements and qualities yet she spent her time trying to make their lives better all because she loved Shiv and his family was her family.
If she can give up her identity for her love for Shiv imagine what all she would do for her children.
She is special because she gives so much to her work stands up for wht she believes and fights for others sometimes putting her life at risk to help others and this she balances it with her responsibilities towards family even if at times she fails in her responsibilities she will not stop doing what she thinks is right.
That is what is special about her.
She doesn't need political positions nor financial might or family support to do what she thinks is right.
She doesn't need to become an MLA collector or a doctor or even join an army to serve the society and nation but just a woman with will to make society a better place.
Just to tell people that you only need to have a strong will to spread the light around you.
