Its some north Indian festival, women keep fast for their husbands... I'm basically Bengali, never celebrated/seen celebration so don't know more than that 😆

I'm a Punjabi.. So teej is a festival to celebrate the upcoming monsoon season.. In this season( or should I say period of time) women fast and there's a gathering called teeyan where girls do giddha and sing songs and boliyaan..(idk what's boliyan in English) and we also apply mehndi on teej!!

cool! There are many Punjabi's there in Canada!! Some of my relatives are from Canada as well.. We call it mini punjab😆
