Maybe he deserves a chair or maybe not. Your guess is as good as mine in that regards.

What award show doesn't have any extra chairs?

Couldn't they find a plastic one or a fold out.

They treat seniors like second class citizens.

It's worse because in this case he was supposed to get an award but still didn't get a seat.

Disgusting to see a multiple National Award winning actor, first Indian actor to get OBE, successful in arthouse, commercial, international cinema, theatre and TV, and an alumnus of FTII-NSD get treated like this.

Anyone else with such impeccable credentials and experience would get certain basic respectful treatment. But not in crude Bollywood. 🤢
