Okay.. I am ready for eggs and tomatoes from all sides.. I know I am tooo much late and I will totally relate to all the complaints of being late.. Well its not excuse but still I was held up with my new routine at the hospital.. If I havent told you all then I have passed my final exam and I am finally a doc now.. 😃
So the new routine got the better of me.. I am getting used to it.. and i will complete these stories soon.. and a few more that I am still to post.. TThannks for putting up with me..Scene 13Madhu was feeling too excited and apprehensive at the same time. She was sitting on the bed as she waited for RK to return from work.
"When will you be back?" She shouted on the phone.
"Just on the way.." he replied.
"Fast.."madhu demanded before cutting the call.
Soon RK entered the house and rushed to Madhu. "What happened?" He asked panicking.
"See.." she said excited.
"What?" RK asked confused.
"Come here!" She said and took his hand and kept it on her stomach.
"Did you feel him kicking..?" She asked with widened eyes as RK tried to feel with all his concentration focused on his hand.
After around 30 seconds he felt something kicking his hand. His eyes went wide as he tried to believe that someone could actually be in there. Not that he didn't know but witnessing it first hand felt strange.
"Is she actually in there?" He asked her delighted.
"Yes..!" Madhu replied shrieking as she was equally surprised at the fact.
"I can tell she was practicing her karate skills in there..." he said confidentally
"No.. its my boy practicing football.." Madhu said stubbornly.
"We will see that in another 4 months.." RK said frowning. "Me and my girl would then tease you.."
"We will see that.." Madhu said frowning.
"RK..." Madhu suddenly turned serious. He looked at her enquiringly.
"Mummyji wants us to return home.. she wants me to stay with them during this time.." Madhu said apprensively anticipating an outburst.
"Madhu.." he said making her sit on the sofa as he too sat beside her. "I was hurt.. and maybe am still.. but what stops me from going back now is our life.. This life seems so complete.. and i don't want anything to change for now.. we are together for each other and I dont want to miss all this that we have created together."
"Yes You are right.. even i love this life.. but then mummyji also wants to be a part of us.. and whrn i told her that I have stopped going to office and am working from home for tge next 4 months.. she was worried for me staying back alone.."
"Ask her if she can come here till evening.. I dont know.. I am still not ready to go back to that house where I had literally had fights with my own parents.. it won't let me have a good feeling and for these days I only want to feel happy for my daughter.." he said touching her stomach.
Madhu smiled at him slightly. She thought she was in love with him.

RK roamed in his office's cabin. Since a week Radha had been coming to their place during the day. But RK had been sucessufully ignoring to face her. He would return late because he knew Radha prefers to return home by 8. He deliberately came after that and even Radha had understood it and she respected RK's decision and didn't stay back. this was an unsaid agreement between the two and Madhu knew the least about it. And she neither wanted to interfere between the mother son duo.
But today felt something different. RK felt the urge to see her. Knowing that his mother must be in his house and he can see her if he returns home on time was making him feel restless. He sat in his chair and closed his eyes to calm his racing mind and breaths.
Radha was about to return from RK's house. She opened the door to go when she saw RK standing there. She couldn't believe her eyes as her jaw fell in surprise. RK on the other hand couldnt bring himself to look at her. He mostly looked here and there.
"How... are.. you?" He asked hesitantly.
Radha's eyes sparkled with tears of joy. She had heard his voice after months together. She nodded her head vigorously trying to tell him that she was good.
"And dad.?" RK asked still looking away.
"He.. he is missing you alot Rishu.." Radha said with trembling voice.
RK looked at her for a second and then walked past her, entering the house.
"Aren't you happy?" Radha asked from behind. "Isnt she perfect for you?" She asked crying.
"She is better than what I thought.." RK said softly.
"Then why are you still upset with us?" Radha asked pleadingly.
"Because you weren't as I thought.." he said turning to face her.
"she is good.. she understood me.. accepted my insecurities and coped up with the fact that I didnt want her to be a part of my life.. she being a stranger understood me.. but my own parents didnt understand me.." he said softly as hurt descended his eyes
"I am sorry.. but at that time we had no choice.." Radha tried to explain.
"You could always have chosen me.. but you didn't" he said in a slightly hard tone.
Radha closed her eyes not understanding how to convince him. RK turned and walked away and Radha too decided to go now. She knew everything needs time to get back to normal. At least RK complained to her.
As RK entered the room he found Madhu sitting in the arm chair and sleeping. Her hair tied in a bun and oil kept on one side. Seemed like Radha has just given her the famous head massage of hers. He remembered he used to sleep while she gave him the massage. Specially whenever he had his exams because he couldnt relax but for the massage. A smile crept his lips seeing the innocent form of Madhu and also remembering his own life.

"Mummy ji was missing you a lot today.." Madhu told him as they sat on the dinibg table. RK was too quiet today and Madhu didnt know why.
"Hmm" he said as he kept eating. All his wounds had freshened up in meeting Radha today.
"She said you used to get a head massage from her every saturday.." Madhu said delightedly.
"Ohh.. thats why you got it for yourself.." RK said gesturing at her hair.
"Ooo.. now I get why you are so quiet today.." Madhu said smiling naughtily.
" Why?" RK asked confused.
"You are jealous..." Madhu said teasingly.
"Neither I am jealous nor I am quiet.." RK said with a frown.
"Yes you are... Dont worry baby.. You will get your lollipop.." Madhu said looking at him seriously and then burst into a laugh.
RK looked at her angrily and then he picked up her plate and started eating from that.
"I made that for myself.." she screamed suddenly offended.
"I know.. tease me all you can.. I wont let you eat it.." RK said with an annoyed face as he kept eating from her plate.
"This is not done Rishabh Kundra..!" Madhu said angrily stomping her feet as she reached out to grab her plate back.
"Now who is whining for her lollipop?" RK asked raising an eyebrow at her.
"You have no manners.. you dont eat from someone else's food.." Madhu said angrily as she snatched her plate back.
"Yeah.. but you are not someone else.. you are my wife.." RK said looking at her naughtily.
Madhu blushed slightly on hearing him. She wished he realizes their relation soon and accepts that he loves her. But then she loved this excitement of unsaid words.
