Show-stripper!-Karan Oberoi

A week back, Zee TV Titan Antakshari's host Karan Oberoi had a horrifying experience on the sets.

Several girls participating in the inter-collegiate championship special stripped him semi-nude! Says an eye-witness, "Himani Kapoor (Karan's co-host) instigated the college students to strip Karan.

The girls got carried away and started pulling him from every side. They forcibly took off his shirt and Karan couldn't stop them."

Caught unawares

Karan explains, "There were at least 10 girls. How could I stop so many of them? Also, this happened when I was doing a song sequence."

An embarrassed Karan adds, "I hope the producers won't retain the scene." Much later, he learnt that it was all pre-planned. He ruefully says, "I wish they had informed me."

Embarassing

Karan desperately held on to his jeans after the girls stripped his shirt off. An eyewitness says, "The production guys intervened when they saw Karan was in utter discomfort. Karan ran off the sets to save himself from further embarrassment."

Antakshari's Santosh Shende denies it was all pre-planned, saying, "We will retain parts of the scene. On the other hand, Karan is apprehensive about girlfriend Mona Singh's reaction, who is unaware about the incident."
