Ajay Devgn-Sonkashi Sinha starer Son of Sardaar' will have a sequel. The actor just made an announcement that the sequel to this 2012 film will have a Diwali 2017 release.

The 2012 film was a remake of Telugu film Maryada Ramanna and was directed by Ashwni Dhir. While other details are not yet established, Ajay Devgn wrote:

Sorry yaar, duniya bekar bina Son of Sardaar! Get ready for the sequel releasing Diwali 2017.

Now no SRK or YRF should come up with a Diwali announcement for 2017 and claim that Diwali is their monopoly as if they own all diwalis 😆
