Am I the only one who is dreading a Bollywood-only career for Fawad?

I am from India, and I can't help but shudder at the thought of Fawad only choosing to focus on Bollywood now. I don't despise Bollywood. But, Pakistani dramas belong to completely different genre. Either the show is character-driven or plot-driven. Nothing is left at the mercy of viewers' interpretation and understanding of a particular situation. I am sorry, but I absolutely hated Khoobsurat. The movie is so lame. It demands a lot of effort to pay attention if Fawad is not on-screen. I can't think of an actor who could have pulled this role off better, honestly. Not even Ranbir Kapoor, and that's saying something.
But, what now? Will I never get to see Fawad as in a character-driven role such as that of Zaroon and Asher?
Bollywood is too glamorous and rewarding an industry to let go of Fawad Khan now. We all know he is here to stay, and I am hoping he doesn't end up choosing doing something as atrocious as Khoobsurat in future. He deserves better! So do we, as fans.

Cheers! ⭐️

I am a completely selfish Indian fan. I won't have legal access to his work unless he does BW or Indian TV. I totally want him in BW only. In fact I hope he does endorsements in India so that we don't have to wait for ages to see him onscreen. Why always assume negative about the quality of work he will get. Khoobsurat was only his debut. Didn't he debut with supporting role in Pakistan too?

Bollywood also has films which is character driver and plot driven. Im sorry but I dont like it when all bolly films are stereotyped into one big piece of trash. There are a lot of good films (some of which go unnoticed)
The problem is the ones crossing the 100 crore mark are the mindless comedies. Which ofcourse is changing now(piku,nh10) Good stories too are entering the 100 cr club.

Nevertheless 100 cr or not. Bolly certainly isnt short of good films.

Khoobsurat was his debut and he might have thought of it as a safe bet. And Khoobsurat did bring a lot of limelight to him. So we shouldnt complain much.

From here onwards he'll obviously choose films with more meaty roles since people know his calibre here now.

So yeah Bolly is much bigger. he will get good films if he chooses wisely.

On the other hand,I do want him to do pak dramas occasionally. I dislike his hibernating periods IMMENSELY.

Shabz gone are the days Fawad would do television if he came back to Pakistan. He would at most do one Pakistani film a year or not even that 😆 He should've done Dekh Magar Pyaar Se with Humaima .. that fillm looks so cute [not that I have a problem with Sikander Rizvi.. loving him 😳] hope he can act though.

I find FK to be choosy kind . He has very small range of his work comparatively to others actors . Not seen him in every other drama. Being Indian would like to see him in BW with good story line and director who brings out best in FK. , do justice to his acting skills . He is best in romance and emotionally charged scenes.

My intuition his fate will be similar to Ali Zadar
Will enjoy 3 4 years of popularity in BW

HAHA! I am a selfish Indian fan, too. Can never get enough of him, can we? 😛
My concern is limited to the scripts that are offered to him. I really hope Indian directors offer him scripts that bring the actor out of him, and not just bring his good-looks to the table.

I have grown up watching Bollywood films. Never intended to stereotype Bollywood as 'trash'. It really isn't. Films fill up a major quota of my weekend entertainment. I wasn't talking about the 'lack' of good scripts for Fawad. I'm sure he can judge better for himself than any of his fans can. I was only talking about how much I would miss watching him pull off a Zaroon or Asher, again. That is all!

Cheers! 😃

HAHAHA! I can understand how protective you must feel of him. Aww! Please have faith in us. I really hope he doesn't disappoint anyone in Pakistan, or India. I don't think he will.

Truckloads of love. 😳

P.S- You mind sending Fahad Mustafa here? 😆

OKTHANKSBYE! 😉
