Shahid has always had a youthful, sporty sense of style and it's a dream for any designer to dress an athletic groom like him on his big day. Delhi girl Mira is barely 21 and her ingenue, non-filmy appeal entails an outfit which is young, vibrant and breaks the clichs of a typical wedding trousseau. Also it's a destination wedding, which makes the wedding attire options more resort-y, boho and with an experimental touch. Should Shahid ditch the tried-and-tested sherwani and be the biker groom? Mira Rajput's lehenga will be a part of our Benaras Revival Collection. It's a fuschia gold lehenga with a short embroidered choli and an odhni worked with small butis. It is contemporarised in style , but in essence, has kept the embroidery tradition of the old zardozi craftsmanship.

Since Mira is barely 21, we suggest a very light pastel lehenga for a fresh youthful bridal look. We didn't want to do strong colours since she is a young girl. Besides we've used 3-D embellishments and beads which are dainty and delicate. There is gota detailing and silver gota which photographs very well. The gold tassel make the outfit fun. She could accessorise it with haathphool and floral headpiece which will make the difference.
