CHAPTER 9:The Confession
TaaShaReYam came out of the court smilling widely. And why not they smile , taani won the case. Finally rey was proved innocent and he got back admission in his college for his last year. Taani's chachu and shivam get punishment to live in jail for 10 years. Veer got punishment for 1 year for kidnapping taani.
Four of them came out and saw media standing there outside. They were waiting for taani and rey to ask questions , and why not , rey was son of the most famous businessman and taani's dad was also famous business tycoon.
As they came out on the road , the media started to bombard them with lots of questions like how did tani came to know that rey is innocent , how she collected proofs against her chachu and cousin etc etc. Taani was answering them and rey was looking at her. After answering all the questions taarey were going to swaron when rey noticed his mom and dad coming towards them. He looked at taani and taani said , "go rey..". Rey smilled at her and ran to his mom and hugged her tightly. Tears were rolling down from both of their's eyes.
"Hows you mom??" Rey asked breaking the hug.
"I m gud beta." Said his mom.
Then he looked at his dad. He was not looking at rey. He was feeling guilty that he didnt believed his son.
"Dad" rey said softly.
"M sorry rey.." he said started to cry. Immediately rey gathered him in a hug and was caressing his back.
"No dad , dont say sorry please. Mujhe achha nahi lagta." Said rey.
"Nahi beta , when you needed me i was not with you. I m the worst dad ever." Said rey's dad.
"No dad , you are the best." Rey said breaking the hug and wiped his tears.
Taani and swaron came there where rey and his parents were standing.
"Dad , thanks to taani that we won." Rey said looking at taani and without his knowledge he held her hand in his.
His dad looked at him and then at their hands. He smiled at how rey was holding her hand.
"Thanks beta." His dad said.
"No uncle , dont say thanks. Rey is my best friend. I can do anything for him." Said taani.
"You are so sweet. God bless you. " said rey's dad and he put his hand on her head.
Her eyes become moist. She always wanted her dad to do this , but she never get that.
"Reyy.." all heard someone calling rey. They turned and saw a girl coming towards them. She was wearing a knee length dress and high heels.
"ankita??" Rey said.
"Rey , tu issee jaanta hai??" Swayam asked.
"Ha swayam , she was my girl friend." Rey said. Hearing this taani felt her heart crushing. She couldnt believe rey has a girl friend. She felt like rey betrayed her by not telling her about this girl. "But you know what , i dont love her anymore. She left me when she came to know that i am in jail." Rey completed.
"Rey , rey...how are you??" Ankita asked as she came near them. All the media reporters came there to know what was going on.
"Why are you here??" Rey asked , greeting his teeth.
"Rey , i m so sorry. I know that it was my fault to leave you. Please forgive me rey , rey i love you. I love you so much." Ankita said.
"Rey , i have some work. I will meet you later." Said taani and excused herself from there. Swayam tried to stop her but she was gone.
Ankita kept talking , but rey , he was looking at taani. He saw her hurt face. As she was going away he was remembering their precious memories.
"Rey , you are very special for me." he remembered that night when he went to her room , and she said that he is special.
"I can do anything for you rey." he remembered how she helped him everytime.
"Then stay with me always rey." he remembered their kiss , and a smile came on his face. He closed his eyes and tears rolled down on his cheeks.
"Rey ... reyy...are you listening?? Where are you lost??" Ankita said to rey while shaking him.
"Ankita...the fact is , i never loved you , never." Rey said making swayam and sharon smile.
"Finally , i think he realise." Swayam whispered in sharon's ear.
"I hope so. "Sharon replied.
"What are you talking rey?? I m your ankita." Ankita said.
"Nahi ankita , you are not mine and i m not yours ...you always wanted to be with me because i was the famous guy in college...when you came to know that i was punished you left me , and now when taani prooved that i was innocent , you came back...m sorry but i dont want to be in any relation with you. Girl friend to door ki baat , i dont want to be your friend also." rey said
"Rey , you cant do this to me." Ankita said.
"Excuse me , you can leave now." Said rey's dad.
"But-"
"You can leave miss." Said rey's father strictly. " and you people also." He said to the reporters and they went away from there.
"Rey , you have to do as i say. "Said his dad.
"Means??" Rey asked.
"I mean you have to marry with the girl i choose for you." Said his dad , making him sad.
"But dad-" rey tried to protest.
" i dont want to hear anything , mene tumhare liye ladki dhundh li hai." Said his dad.
"Buy dad i lo-"
"And the girl is taani." Said his dad , and rey was shocked beyond zenith. His mouth was hunged open.
"Now close your mouth. Go and tell her that you love her , otherwise i will not let you get in the house." Said his dad.
"Dad , how do you know??" Rey asked
"You idiot , everyone knows. Sirf tujhe hi der se pata chala." Swayam said slapping him on his back of head.
"Oouch , swayam ...what are you doing??" Said rey.
"Why you realised so late yar??" Swayam said.
"Ab kya karu yar , i m duffer jo taani ki baato se samajh hi nahi paya ki she loves me." Rey said.
"So why are you delaying now? Just go and tell her." Sharon said.
"And rey , give this bangles to my would be daughter in law." Said his mom and gave him her gold bangles studded with diamonds.
"Sure mom. " rey said and took the bangles.
"Take my car." Said his dad. Rey took the car keys and ran ti the car.

Taani reached her home. She was controlling her tears very hardly. She locked her car and went in the house.
When she entered , she saw her dad and brother sitting on sofa.
"Dad , you didnt came. Why?? " taani asked.
"i was there taani , i was there. But when i came to know the truth , i couldnt help but left from there. Mujhe yakin nahi hua ki shivam and his dad were the culprit. You were right taani , rey was innocent. I was wrong." Said her dad.
She sighed , "chalo , finally you believed." Said taani and she started to go upstairs when her dad called her.
"taani"
"Yes dad..." she said turning back. And what she saw , made her eyes moist. Tears started to flow from her eyes. Her dad was calling her for a hug. She couldnt believe what was happeninh. She ran to him and hugged him tightly and he gathered her in a warm hug.
"I m proud of you." Said her dad and planted a kiss on her hairs.
"Dad...i...i missed you so much and i love you." Said taani in between her sobs.
"We love you too taani. But we faild to show it." Said her brother.
"Bhai.." taani broke the hug and hugged her bhai.
"Sorry." He said hugging her back.
"Its ok." Said taani breaking the hug.
"Ok go and rest. You need to sleep right now. You are looking tired." Said her dad.
"Yes i m tired. But from now , breakfast lunch and dinner , aap dono mere sath karenge." Said taani.
"Sure , now go and rest. hume office jana hai." Said her dad.
"Bye." Said taani.
"Bye." Her dad hugged her and then both left for the office.
Taani went up to her room and freshed up.
After that she was sitting on the bed with her winnie the pooh teddybear. She was lost in her thought when she heard her door opened and rey marched in her room.
"Hi taani.." rey said as he marched in and he directly went on her bad.
"Rey 😲 😲 ...what are you doing here??" Taani asked him.
"Kyu ?? Me yaha nahi aa sakta?? This is my room too." Rey said snatching her teddybear and putting it under his head.
"This is my sweetu , not your pillow ...and this is only my room." Said taani snatching it back.
"Achha thik hai...le lo. Aur ab TV on karo. Har news channel pe tumhari hi batein ho rahi hai. Taani won her first case which was like impossible. Taani is best. She will be the best lawyer etc etc. " said rey.
Taani turned on the tv and saw that on every news channel the discussion topic was she and her winning case.
And as she was swapping chanels , on one news channel it was showing the convo of ankita and rey.
"And see , how the son of famous businessman broke a girl's heart. Mr. Reyaansh ko shayad pata nahi how to handle a girl. Ese sabke samne iss ladki ka dil tod diya." Said the reporter.
"What nonsense." Rey said and he turned off the tv.
"Rey , she was right. I think you should go back to her. She loves you." Said taani , but she was saying this without looking in his eyes.
"Oh really taani?? She is selfish you know. She left me when i was in jail." Rey said.
"Ya but-"
"Okay , you are saying ki mujhe uske paas jana chahiye because she loves me." Said rey and taani nodded.
"Okay , so acording to you hume uske paas jana chahiye jo humse pyar karta ho right?" Rey asked.
"Hmm.." taani replied.
"Tab to mujhe tumhare sath hona chahiye na." Said rey making her shocked. Taani looked at rey with wide eyes.
"Bolo na , shouldnt i have to be with you?" Rey asked again taking a step forward , near taani.
"Rey...vo...you..." taani took a step back and was stammering while answering him.
"Bolo na.." rey said and he pulled her holding her waist. She collide with his hard chest. His hands were around her waist and her hands were on his chest.
"Answer me na taani...i should be with you because you love me right??" Rey asked.
"Nahi...vo...pyar...tum..." taani was finding it hard to say anything to him. She was looking in his eyes and she saw love for her in his eyes.
"Bolo na." Rey asked again , this time pulling her more closer.
Taani couldnt control more and she broke down in front of him.
"Yes rey , i love you. I love you so much. I want you with me forever. I cant live with out you." Said taani putting her head on his chest and hugging him around his belly.
"To phir pehle kyu nahi bataya taani??" Rey asked hugging her tightly. "Agar pehle bola hota to shayad me thoda jaldi samajh jata that i love you. Bahot pyar karta hu tumse aur me bhi tumhare bina ji nahi paunga." Rey confessed.
Taani broke the hug and looked at him , "sach me?? You love me na?? Say yes please.." taani said.
"I love you." Rey said once again and taani smiled. She kissed both of his cheeks and hugged him once again.
"Taani yar..." rey said in her hairs. He wanted to kiss her but was hesisting to do.
"What??" Taani asked breaking the hug.
"Nothing just.." rey held her face in his palms and kissed her forehead.
"Rey.."
"Hmm.."
"You can kiss me." Taani said making him smile widely.
"How do you know that-"
"I know you better than you." Said taani , and as she completed her sentence rey captured her lips in a soft and gentle kiss. He was niblling her lower lip. Taani's arms went around his neck and she pulled him closer. Rey smilled in the kiss and he depend the kiss more. It became a passioniate kiss and they broke it when they felt short of breath.
"You know mera dil kar raha hai ki.."
"Kya wish hai tumhare dil ki??" Taani asked.
Rey hugged her and said "i want to love you , i want to make you mine." Said rey making her face go red due to blush. " but i know my limits. Bas tum mrs. Singhania ban ke aa jao. After that you will be only mine."
Taani blushed more and hide her face in his chest. Rey broke the hug and went on his knees.
"Miss. Taani , will you marry me?" Rey asked.
"Yes rey , i will." Taani said. Rey took out the bangles which his mom gave and slipped that in her wrist.
"Mom gave this. She also want you in our house as soon as possible." Rey said.
"Its pretty." Said taani.
"Not more than you." Said rey and he pulled her in a hug. " and by the way one more thing , aaj me tumhare room me door se kyu aaya pata hai??" Rey asked.
"Kyu??" Taani asked
"Because today i came with permission of your dad." Rey said. "And when i told him that i love you , he was really happy."
"What?? Sachhi??" Taani asked.
"Yup." Rey said.
"Reyyy , i love you , i love you , i love you." Taani said and she hugged him.
Rey smile wide and hugged her back , " I know." He said.
Finally taani and rey became taarey and now they are inseprable.
