With BV's performance on BO/critics, Ranbir getting the best actor is now unlikely . Who do u think can win now ?

Varun probably has the best chance now or if BM is a big hit and Ranveer's performance equally praised then him

Its a waste that UP is releasing next year, if it was this year, I think Shahid would have won. BV may have flopped but Ranbir acting was flawless. Ranveer may score this time round. I hope they don give to buddha SRK. Varun seems to be a good contender but I doubt they give it to a new actor. If FF disregard BV failure, then high chances he will get.

So far it is Varun hands down.

But there are still lots of movie to release, too early to say.

IF Bajirao Mastani releases this year and manages its cost (doesn't have to be a hit), the best actor will go to Ranveer.
Likh lo KST ne kaha tha
The role of Bajirao is very difficult and intense. Filmfare will notice that and i am sure Ranveer will surprise everyone with his acting. This role will be better than Lootera.

Ranbir- BV/Tamasha

So far it is Varun in Badlapur.

Farhan is huge contender and will take it away if Wazir does well at the BO. The trailer looked very good and the story seems promising as well (written by Abhijat).

Other contenders include.

Shahid in Shaandar.
Ranbir in Tamasha.
Ranveer in BM (but it looks screwed BO wise and we all know how film-fare is).

I forgot Akshay. He has a good chance as well.

Brothers will be a performance oriented role as looks set to smash the BO as well. He was good in Baby as well.
