The grapevine is abuzz with news that Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput had a small, low-key roka ceremony at her Chattarpur Farms residence in Delhi on May 16. An intimate gathering of very close friends and family was organised by Mira's best friends, who sent out hand-made invites to everyone.
Shahid flew down to the Capital to be with his lady-love on the D-day. But guess what? Though he has been shooting and busy with the wedding preparations, he gifted his to-be wife a solitaire ring.
"It was custom-made and was ordered from a jeweller in Delhi itself. Shahid had kept Mira's taste in mind and had personally picked the design and had ordered it much in advance. It costs a whopping Rs 23 lakh," reveals our source.
