Just when things were becoming better between Ragini (Pallavi Kulkarni) and Neil (Ronit Roy) in "Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar," their son gets embroiled in another controversy creating a big wall between the couple. Aarav (Yatin Mehra) wanted to become a successful business man. He was in love with Shilpa (Snehal Pandey), but she chose Ranbir (Avinash Mukherjee) over him because he was well-settled, successful and basically rich in life.
Ever since Shilpa slipped out of Aarav's hand, he has been desperate to make money quickly. In spite of Ragini's objections, Neil supports Aarav's decision, provided he also makes time for his studies. Aarav opens an event management company and takes money from loan sharks to start the venture. The loans keep increasing and Aarav keeps getting duped by clients who conveniently forget to pay.
In the previous episode of "Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar," when a loan shark comes to collect his money it is Ragini's birthday and the entire family is out celebrating. Seeing this he warns Aarav that if he doesn't hand over the money soon, he will make sure that his secret is out in front of the whole family.
When Aarav has money Shilpa agrees to be his girlfriend but the moment he gets into trouble she backs off from her decision. In the upcoming sequence, Aarav is heartbroken as his business doesn't flourish as planned and he no longer has the love of his life. The loan shark comes to collect his money again and they get into a tussle in broad daylight. During their fight, Aarav finally decides to shoot himself but he ends up accidentally shooting Shilpa. The entire episode is witnessed by Neil, Ragini and Ranbir. Ragini lashes out at Neil for supporting him in his work.
With that Aarav loses his senses and his hope to live. Neil and Ragini come there and take control of the situation. We believe this leads to the split between the couple again, after just having come back together. From what we hear, this will be the tipping point of the eight months leap scheduled to happen.
