5 reasons why we STILL love to watch Balika Vadhu

31 Mar 2015 03:44 PM | TellychakkarTeam

After having a run for six successful years, Balika Vadhu (Sphereorigins) on Colors is still considered to be one of the most popular shows on television. After telecasting more than 1850 episodes, it has not turned into a boring saga rather it has kept the viewers hooked to their television screen with its gripping storyline. Recently, focusing back on the issue of child marriage this show is making a powerful impact on the audience.

Loved by the viewers of every age, Balika Vadhu has been able to steal our heart right from the time it started. Here, at Tellychakkar.com we will provide you with five reasons why this daily is still loved by all.

Have a look.

Rajasthani Flavor

Based in the Rajasthani backdrop, the daily rightly captures the local customs and traditions. The Rajasthani flavour successfully provides us with the very typical shuddh desi' feel. And the same desi' feel definitely appeals to both urban and rural audience.

Social Issues

One of the earliest of its kind the daily initially dealt with the issue of child marriage. And with its gripping plot the show has successfully created a great impact on the masses, especially in the rural areas. And we have to admit that the way audio-visual media can capture our attention, no other medium can do so. Kudos makers, for taking up an unusual subject matter.

Power-Packed Performances

The show has gifted us with some new talents like Avika Gor, Avinash Mukherjee, Pratyusha Banerjee, Toral Rasputra along with some of the veterans like Surekha Sikri, Anup Soni, Smita Bansal and others. And each one of them is real show stealers, who can set the screen ablaze with their performances.

Women Empowerment

The best part of this show is that not only the central character Anandi has dealt with her problems in life with dignity, but Dadisa also has projected a strong matriarch. Even Ganga is another strong woman, who left no stones unturned to keep his son protected from the clutches of her ex-husband. And we simply cannot deny that they have hugely inspired women of our country.

Message After Every Episode

Do you remember in childhood how our storybooks used to contain a moral message at the end of every story readers? Well the makers follow quite a similar fashion with this daily. At the end of each episode a moral message is given to the viewers. And there cannot be any better way to enlighten the masses. Don't you agree?

Most of the things they have said are right.Well I don't think we have the same amount of attachment with the new characters. With Little Anandi Dadisa Sumi Bhairon Jagya the emotional connect we made with character story was instant.
That is not true about the characters introduced in Version 2.0.Not many faithful viewers connect with Nimboli and her sasural characters like the way they connected with Anandi Dadisa.

Unless Nandini unites with Anandi it is very difficult to establish the connection.

One more thing powerpacked performances came not only from Surekhaji, Avika Pratyusha Toral Anop and Smita they came from the two male leads Siddharth Shukla and Shashank Vyas too but they only included Avinash Mukherji .
