Update 09/09/04
Pratik is still in the hospital, hes in a stable condition but he
hasnt woken yet. Babuji is sitting beside him and is very sad and
weeping. Babuji thinks about the times Pratik was telling Babuji
that he wants to fight for the workers. Babuji sadly comes out of
the room and goes outside and joins the rest of the family and tells
everyone that Pratik will be fine, hes a strong guy!. Anurag and the
other male-doctor come out of their office, and Anurag sadly
approaches the family. He tells them that he cant tell them anything
about Pratiks condition right now because they still need to remove
the rest of the poison. Anurag says that once the poisons removed,
only then can they determine the full extent of damage done to
Pratiks body. Babuji and Iravati cant understand who would want to
hurt Pratik as he is such a good-doer (HOW STUPID ARE THEY, HAVE
THEY ALREADY FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE THUGS THAT CAME AFTER PRATIK).
Malini and Durga are also there, acting like they are concerned as
well. Then everyone asks where Kaveri and Rimjhim have disappeared
off to. Rakesh and Avinash have searched the whole hospital for
them!
Meanwhile Kaveri and Rimjhim are at some building. Kaveri is in an
agitated state and she keeps saying ''Pratapji tried to kill MY
PRATIK, MY PRATIK!!!''. Rimjhim says that she and Pratik always knew
that Pratapji was a bad man. Rimjihm says that trying to shoot
Pratapji wasnt a bright idea. Rimjhim says Pratapji is a clever man,
he even made YOU feed Pratik that poisoned juice! Hence..Rimjhim
tells Kaveri that she mustnt tell anyone about what she knows about
Pratapji. Rimjhim says 'meri kasam' (THIS IS LIKE HER FLIPPING
TRADEMARK).
Jayanti has just arrived and found out about Pratik so shes crying
her eyes out. The police arrive and ask the family about why theres
poison in Pratiks body. The police inspector asks if Pratik was
suicidal. Rakesh says that ''Pratik would never commit suicide
because hes a strong guy, he was only just doing a hunger strike for
poor workers''. Avinash agrees and adds that Pratik is a man of
principle and would never commit suicide. The inspector says that in
that case someone tried to kill him! Everyones baffled as to who
want to kill him. Kaveri and Rimjhim arrive. Rimjhim says that she
took Kaveri to the temple to cool her down. Kaveri doesnt say much
to the cops and instead goes to cry alongside Jayanti.
Kaveri enters Pratiks room. Pratiks still unconscious. She acts
angry and says ''this is not my fault! what happened to you is not
MY fault..fight with me!! why are you so quiet!! your supposed to
fight with me like you always do, whether or not its my fault''.
Then she starts crying and says ''BUT its NOT MY FAULT''..she keeps
repeating that.
Outside, Avinash is wondering who would have wanted to kill Pratik,
he thinks that Kaveri should have some clues as she was with him
during and after the hunger strike ended. Avinash asks where Kaveri
is? Rimjhim goes to get Kaveri from inside the room and whispers in
her ear to warn her about Avinash outside. Kaveri goes outside and
Avinash bombards her with questions to see if she can give him any
clues as to who would want to kill Pratik. Rakesh asks Avinash to
cool down. Yashoda and Rimjhim also tell Avinash to calm down as
Kaveri starts crying again. Rakesh thinks that Avinash has a point
though. Kaveri goes back inside to where Pratik is.
Babuji is upset and Prem comes along and asks Babuji if he needs
anything. Babuji says hes ok. Babuji apologizes to Prem as the
engagement got broken and Prem couldnt fly to America to sort out
this business. Prem says that hes ashamed that Babuji's thinking
about that as Pratik is like his elder brother! Babuji convinces to
Prem to sort out his problem in America. Prem says ok, he'l go to
the states. Babuji says that maybe Pratik will be fine by then.
Babuji says that the engagement is called off for now. Durga
overhears all this.
Durga calls up Malini, (eventhough shes only afew feet away they
cant talk face to face incase someone sees them). He tells her that
things are going badly, the engagements also called off. Malini
says ''why did Pratik have to go and get ill now! its ruined
everything..i dont care if Pratik lives or dies BUT Rimjhim is
definately going from this house despite the engagement being called
off!''. Malini and Durga end the call and Malini turns around to
find Rimjhim standing there..Rimjhims heard everything and she slaps
Malini hard. Malinis shocked
