October 22-26, 2007

During the week of October 22-26, 2007, the nation will be rocked by the biggest conservative campus protest ever – Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week, a wake-up call for Americans on 200 university and college campuses.

The purpose of this protest is as simple as it is crucial: to confront the two Big Lies of the political left: that George Bush created the war on terror and that Global Warming is a greater danger to Americans than the terrorist threat. Nothing could be more politically incorrect than to point this out. But nothing could be more important for American students to hear. In the face of the greatest danger Americans have ever confronted, the academic left has mobilized to create sympathy for the enemy and to fight anyone who rallies Americans to defend themselves. According to the academic left, anyone who links Islamic radicalism to the war on terror is an "Islamophobe." According to the academic left, the Islamo-fascists hate us not because we are tolerant and free, but because we are "oppressors."

Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week is a national effort to oppose these lies and to rally American students to defend their country.

i applaud everyone of the students and teachers once again for there justice and morality 👏
ps: these are not some school kids these students range from anywhere 19-29 and the prorfessors affcors are very wise

I think there is some confusion here. This awareness campaign is to confirm that Islam is fascist and the root cause of terrorism in America.

Thats what I thought of, but was in two moods to write or no, don't wanna cause any trouble here. I felt thats actually wrong, to have a convo. like this. I might be incorrect.

It's worded very cleverly.

I believe in the wake of upcoming Presidential elections of 2008, it is a scheme by conservatives to gain votes using 'war on terrorism' as main agenda and play with American emotions to vote for them. So far the votes show a slight edge for Democrats. So there is nothing like reminding 9/11 and create the same fear in American minds.

Since all the major universities in US and some in Israel are already registered for this seminar I would like to raise few questions as part of debate:

1. Wouldn't isolating a group of people on the basis of religion cause more resentment?

2. What about the Muslim students of these universities? What would be their approach? Would they give this a miss or make a petition against these seminars? Which approach would be feasible?

3. Would this bring an unrest in the country?

4. Do you think that it is time for Islamic student unions to start an awareness on Islam to clear the prejudice?
