Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein coming to an end!

This is what I would like to hear considering how badly the show is losing its plot. But this series will not see its end very soon, much to my displeasure. Read on!

Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been airing on TV since 2013. The series initially started off as a love story between Raman and Ishita who were brought together in a union by their families. The concept of the show was well received by the audience, as it tackled the stigma attached to divorce. YHM had a good start but now, the series is literally losing its plot. Twists are being forced, new characters are being introduced for no reason and the list continues. Here are 3 reasons why I wouldn't be very sad if Raman and Ishita's love saga sees its end soon:

Randomness is next to lameness

Shagun(Anita Hassanandani) is teaming up with Param to steal Ruhi and Aditya from Ishita YET again. Subbu(Amita Tandon) has entered the scene and is in love with Ishita. Mihir(Raj Singh Arora) is trying to make Rimmi jealous, when talks of their divorce are currently going on. Can't you see? There are random developments happening without any definite reasoning which is making the entire series a major snooze fest, in my opinion. Shagun fails to budge and has no spine, considering the fact that she is willing to seek Ashok's help to get what she wants. How daft has one got to be?

Raman out, Subbu in

I was initially excited about Subbu's entry in the show, thinking that there would somehow emerge a love triangle between him, Raman and Ishita. But I guess I was shooting in the dark, as nothing of that sort seems to be happening whatsoever. Subbu is in love with Ishita but the latter has asked him to keep away in Raman's absence. How predictable! What the hell is even the point of bringing Subbu in when all he had to do was obsess over Simmi's child Ananya?

Dull people make a dull story

Apart from the plot being boring, there are characters in the show that compel me to switch channels. There's Sujata, who proves to be as pointless as Shagun's unfruitful game plans. Apart from consoling heartbroken people, the woman has nothing substantial to add to the story. Then there's Romi, who sits, cracks lame jokes and that's it. What good are you Romi? The only happening character who adds a little bit of excitement to the entire show is Mrs Bhalla. Thanks to her heavy Punjabi accent and hilarious temper, I can atleast sit through some of the episodes featuring her.
