CHAPTER-5
PART-A
Suddenly there were police siren's screaming around the train.
Both khushi and arnav got startled.
They both looked out of window and saw police trying to stop the train.
The train stopped running.
The police began to announce "EVERY ONE PLEASE GET DOWN THE TRAIN.THERE IS A BOMB PLACED INSIDE THIS TRAIN.PLEASE EVERY ONE HURRY UP"
Kh:"Oh No!!!"she exclaimed.
Ar:"What the!!!Why would any one keep bomb in this train?"he said with irritated tone.
Kh:"Arnav there is no time for us to think about anything.Hurry up..Take your lugguage.We will get down"she said and began to take out her lugguage.
"PLEASE EVERY ONE HURRY UP..."Police said and began to search the bomb.
Arnav and khushi took there lugguage and stepped out from the train.
Arnav tried to talk with police but they were sooo busy in searching the bomb.
Arnav talked with a constable and got to know that there is a bomb inside the train that got activated before 10 minutes and gonna blast within 20 minutes.
Ar:"who is the person behind this?"he asked constable.
Con:"We don't know exactly.We got to know all this by listening to a telephone conversation that was recorded"he said.
"It would be better if you leave as far as possible from this place"he said and went in search of bomb.
AR:"Khushi.Come on..Let's leave from this place"he said.
KH:"Arnav.."she is gonna ask something and arnav interrupted her.
Ar:"Khushi..there is no time for us to talk.The bomb is gonna blast within 20 minutes.So,hurry up"he said.
Kh:"Ok"she said and they both began to leave.
They both were walking...
After 20 minutes:
Kh:"It's really too dark here"she said in a scared tone.
Ar:"Yes khushi.But don't worry.I'm with you na"he assured.
kh:"Aww.."she screamed in pain.
Ar:"What happened khushi?"he asked with concern.
Kh:"A thorn pierced into my foot"she said.
Ar:"Oh no!!!"he exclaimed and made her sit on a rock..
"Let me see"he said and bend down to see.
Arnav slowly began to pull out the thorn.
Kh:"Arnav.It's paining"she said closing her eyes and clutched arnav's shoulder tightely.
Ar:"Ush...Khushi look into my eyes"he said.
Khushi opened her eyes and looked into arnav's eyes.
While khushi is looking into his eye's,Arnav pulled out the thorn.
Khushi didn't feel any pain.She was lost in his eyes.
Ar:"Khushi..."he said softly.
Kh:"Hm..."she responded.
AR:"Here is the thorn which pierced into your feet"he said and showed the thorn to khushi.
Kh:"What!!!"she exclaimed."How and when did you pull it out?I didn't feel any pain!!!"she asked.
Ar:"It's a technique dear"he said.
Kh:"Oh!!!"she exclaimed.
Ar:"Hm..."
kh:"Arnav let's stay here.It's really too dark.We can't see anything in this darkness and I got tired.I can't walk any more"she sighed.
Ar:"But khushi what about our food?"he asked.
kh:"Don't worry arnav.I had some packed food with me.We both can share it"she said and smiled.
Ar:"Okay.But before having food I will see if there is any place in our surroundings to stay"he said.
Kh:"No!!!Arnav I'm afraid of darkness"she sighed.
Ar:"Don't worry khushi.I'll be back within few minutes"he said.
Kh:"No!!!Please arnav Don't go leaving me here alone"she cried.
Ar:"Khushi..Please stop behaving like a kid"he said in irritated tone.
kh:"What?I'm behaving like a kid!!!!"she exclaimed."Arnav..Go where ever you want. I'm not gonna talk with you"she retorted.
Ar:"What the!!!Khushi.Why don't you understand?We can't stay here.This isn't a safe place"he said.
Kh:"What ever it might be.I said I'm not gonna talk with you"she retorted.
Ar:"Ok then.Your wish"he said and turned to leave.
kh:"Laad Governor...!!!"she murmured.
Arnav heard that name and turned towards khushi.
Ar:"What's that?"he asked.
Kh:"What?"she aked.
Ar:"I heard some thing like Laad Governor!!!"he exclaimed.
kh:"What?But I didn't hear any kind of that thing"she ignored.
Ar:"Ok then.I'm leaving in search of any safe place"he said.
kh:"Go...!!!"she exclaimed.
Ar:"By the way khushi,I forgot to tell you something.If any one are afraid of darkness and are alone then they should divert their mind.
Like by listening to songs or by recollecting any sweet memories"he said and left the place in search of any safe place.
Kh:"What does he feel about him?He said me behavinging like!!!How dare he"she sniffed.
"He feels like he knows every thing.Laad Governor.Yes,he is really behaving like a laad governor.
Who said that this place is not good?See how peaceful it is!!!"she murmured.
Suddenly she heard some weird sounds.
She heard the wolf cry...and got frightened.
Kh:"Oh No!!Arnav said right.This is not a safe place"she thought."
Hey Devimaya!!!Please save me"she prayed to her devimaya.
"Arnav...where are you!!!!"she sighed.
Arnav was searching for the safe place.
He finally found a hut nearby.He went inside the hut.It's a old hut.There is grass placed at one side of hut.At another side it was dusty.
He searched if there was any lamp.He found it.He lit the lamp and began to go near khushi.
The wolf cry had become more louder than before.
Khushi started trembling with fear.
Kh:"Devimaya.I know you love me.But please I don't want to come near you at this age and this time.You know na..I am waiting and dreaming for my prince charm.Now,how could you do this to me?"she cried.
Khushi wiped her tears.
kh:"Hey!Devimaya meri raksha karna!!(Devimaya protect me)Please...do something.Any miracle and bring me out from this horrible situation"she prayed to devimaya.
Then suddenly she remembered Arnav's words.
"By the way khushi,I forgot to tell you something.If any one are afraid of darkness and are alone then they should divert their mind.

kh:"Songs!!!and memories!!!Hurray!I had my ipod with me.I can listen songs now!"she jumped with joy.
She began to search her i-pod in her hand bag.She took out the ipod and ear phones.
She wore ear buds and began to listen songs...
Songs from Dilwale Dulhania Le jayenge started playing.
"Mere khawabon mein ko"song was playing.
As the song started playing khushi's sweet memory flashed in her mind.
*Flash back*
One day khushi got too bored.She then switched on the TV.
Kh:"jiji.Today it's too boring na?"she said.
Pa:"Ha khushi"she said.
Khushi was changing all channels continuously and finally she stopped at ZEE CINEMA channel.
There at that channel she saw "DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE" movie is playing.
Kh:"Hey Devimaya!You listened my problem.Thank you very much"she prayed.
Pa:"Khushi...Do you know what,Sometimes you will behave like a crazy girl!"she exclaimed for which khushi pouted.
kh:"Jiji!!!"she exclaimed and was about to say when payal interrupted.
pa:Khushi see advertisement's are over and movie has started"she said.
Khushi then began to watch movie.
She is eagerly waiting to listen one of her most favourite song's in DDLJ.When it began to play she started dancing like KAJOL...

The song is still playing and at the same time arnav came near khushi.
kh:"Hey devimaya!Please send my prince near me na...I can't wait any more"she thought.
Ar:"Khushi..."he called her.
As khushi is listening songs she didn't hear arnav calling her.Arnav stood at khushi's back side.
Arnav thought that she is still angry on him.So,she is not replying.
He placed his hand on khushi's shoulder.
kh:"Maa..."she screamed.
Khushi then suddenly jumped from the rock where she sat and started chanting HUNUMAN CHALISA as she thought some ghost is behind her.
Arnav startled at her behaviour.He started going infront of khushi.
Khushi closed her eyes and was trembling with fear.
Arnav saw her and removed her earlobes from her ears and called her by her name softly.
Ar:"Khushi..."he called softly.
Khushi recognized his voice and slowly opened her eyes.
He lifted the lamp near his face and khushi had opened her eyes.
kh:"Arnav!!!"she asked and hugged him tightely.Arnav kept his arms around her.
Ar:"Yes.It's me khushi.What happened to you?And why are you chanting Hanuman Chalisa?"he asked as he was confused.
kh:"Vo...Actually I thought it might be some ghost and ..."she was about to say when Arnav interrupted her.
Ar:"And started chanting Hanuman Chalisa so that the ghost will run away!"he exclaimed.
Kh:"Hm...Yes"she nodded her head.
Then Arnav who was unable to control his laugh bursted out and laughed heartily for which khushi pouted.
After watching him laughing she too began to laugh thinking about her foolishness.
kh:"You are looking adorable while laughing Arnav"she said.
Ar:"Thank's khushi"he said.
kh:"Thank you!!!Don't tell me thank you ARNAV!"she exclaimed.
Ar:"Why Khushi?Why shouldn't I thank you?"he asked.
Kh:"Because we are friends na!Between friends there is NO SORRY AND NO THANKYOU!!!!"she exclaimed.
Ar:"What!!!When did we become friends?"he asked in confusion.
Kh:"Wait what?We didn't become friends yet???"she asked and pondered.
"Okay then.Let's become friends now!"she exclaimed and extended her hand.
Arnav pondered for some time..and looked at khushi who was soo excited.
Ar:"Okay then...Let's be friends"he said and grasped her hand.
They both shook their hands
Ar:"By the way khushi,I forgot to tell you I found a place where we can stay"he said.
kh:"Really!!!"she exclaimed.
Ar:"Yes!!!Now come on..Let's leave to that place"he said.
kh:"Ok then"she said.
They both began to go to that old hut.
