When it felt like some other show... Take for 07/05

Another good episode... Story is going in interesting direction, Then why the subject line? For a few minutes when the episode was focussing on Sooraj & family, it felt like I am watching another show.. Without any of the Ahujas or at-least the Kapoors on screen, it doesn't feel like our DKB ;).

Aayan made the entry today, in the already known way, getting beaten up by Disha ;). What was surprising is his easy relationship with Mr. Kapoor (he calls Mr. Kapoor as Bade papa and they hugged in the first meet) and I don't see M & M grudging his familiarity with Mr. Kapoor, perhaps they don't consider him as a threat as he is not a blood relation and hence not a worthy adversary (unlike Disha & Aarav).

I want to like this Aayaan as he is supposed to be the catalyst that brings Ram and Disha together again, but I wasn't much impressed today. It is not that I have something against him, but his OTT happy go lucky ways when the Ahujas are suffering and also his over familiarity with Mr. Kapoor didn't endear him to me. Ok, he doesn't know yet about the circumstances which brought Disha and Aarav to the Kapoor's and he still not understood that Disha is currently under the category of 'Handle with care'. And Mr. Kapoor is entirely a different person with the people whom he likes and cares for. He is like a godfather to Aayan who helped in his studies, and he is very very fond of Aayan and proud of his achievements. But somehow Mr. Kapoor's friends feel like enemies to me ;). But it will not be long before Aayan being thrown out by Kapoor ;)

Aarav, due to his age and sunny nature is more open to people. He is easy to please, he was ready to accept Aayan,. Aayan had two encounters with Disha, but Disha is a tough nut to crack and also she is not open to being in friendly terms with anyone in Kapoor house. Hope there is no love track for now, Aayan is too old for Disha.

No comments on the Sooraj family scene as it didn't feel like DKB, two things we got to know that are Mrs. Sooraj already doesn't like Disha and Aayan is a very good student.

I liked the fact that they are bringing Aayan into Ram's case by an unexpected route.. I expected Aayan getting interst on Ram's case either due to Disha or due to Sooraj, but Aayan is meeting Ram (in the precap) without knowing who he is. They paved the way today when Aayan told Mr, Kapoor that he joined a firm who specialised in helping the poor people in getting justice.

The dinning table scene was a glimpse of the true colours of M & M duo. They are just waiting for opportunity to pounce on the poor kids, Aarav gave them an opening by mentioning his beloved papa.. Poor kids.. How much ever Disha is angry on her father, she can't take someone bad mouthing him, she walks out on the meal followed by Aarav,

I felt so bad for Aarav when Disha shouted at him. As much as Aarav is innocent, he is also smart. He understands why Disha doesn't want him to wear the red shirt, and he believes his father so much. He was so cute when he sneaked out of the house to go to meet his father. Mr. Kapoor was so mean to Aarav and Disha was on the point when she mocked at him for that, this will be the true state of affairs at the Kapoor's place for the kids, they will be treated well as long as they don't mention thier father, but the moment Mr. Kapoor or his chamchas remember of them as Ram's children, the status quo changes, they always need to tread carefully to have a peaceful existence, isn't it better to live in an orphanage than this?

Ram lost all hopes, he voluntarily accepts that he killed Anu and signs the statement, in-spite of the police inspector warning him that he cant retract his statement later, Nothing matters to him now without his kids. In his own words, he can be away from his kids, but can't take their hatred.. :(

Surprise package of the day, none other than our GFN Karan. I was stunned for a minute when he vehemently claimed that he will find a lawyer and get Ram out ;). never expected such a josh from him ;)

Precap : Aarav worrying about Ram getting beaten up by police, Mr. Kapoor trying to make amends to the kids (for his earlier outrage). And Ram's meeting with his lawyer, none other than Aayan ;)

Some speculations : I think Ram has not revealed the whole truth about Anu's death to anyone yet, I don't think he will cooperate with Aayan to get released from the case. Aayan might learn about Ram's identity by seeing his pic with the kids (as seen in promo). Either he will convince Disha to give a chance to her father or he will convince Ram to share the whole truth with him by telling him about the mental trauma Disha going through, in thinking of Ram as killer. I would like Disha reaching out to her father first, as otherwise it will be like she needs proof to have trust on her father. Also I think it is easier to convince Disha as she still loves her father whereas Ram thinks the kids are hating him. It may also be possible that Aayan sneaks out Aarav to meet his father, which might give a fresh leaf of hope to Ram and give him some reason to want to fight.

Yes, Aayaan is going to help to Ahujas to be single unit again..

From his persepctive, Ram has not given a false statement, he genuinely thinks he ended Anu's

life, that's what he said Karan (& later Disha) too on the every first day. The fact that it wasn't him, but Anu who switched off the life support is a mere technicality in his POV. For him, pushing the bed is as good as switching off the life supoort. But yes, he has to fight off the legal system and the Kapoor's influence to come out for the kids. If he doesn't, the kids will continue to believe him as a murder and it will leave a huge emotional scar with them throughout their lives. They will not lack for material comforts in the Kapoor house, but what about the mental peace and happiness?
