The actress, who has been the face of Bhabhi feels cheated now that the spotlight, in the show, is on Gurdeep Kohli. The idea of the seven-year leap has also not gone down well with Rucha, who's already playing a middle-aged mother in the show. The story goes that from now on the track will revolve around Dev (Vishal Singh) and new entrant Gitanjali Sabharwal (Gurdeep Kohli). Suhana (Rucha Gujrathi) will be killed in an accident and brought back later. The fact, that Rucha has been unceremoniously sidelined, has left her annoyed. "I am aware of the fact that Gurdeep is entering the show. I entered the show with a generation leap and was playing mother to teenagers. Viewers accepted me well when I took over from Dolly Sohi. I am not fine with the leap, it's simply unfair and I am disappointed with them for changing the track all of a sudden. The track is different from what was narrated to me. I am not comfortable playing an older character post the leap. I need to negotiate with the production house about my role and the money." Rucha feels that she's given a lot to the show over more than two years. She says, "I will work on my own terms now, or else I will quit the show. I have been doing Bhabhi for two-and-a-half years. It is not fair on the production house's part." Gurdeep Kohli When contacted, Gurdeep Kohli, who is all set to play the main lead in the show as Gitanjali, says, "My terms and conditions have been met by the production house so I decided to take up the show. Besides it's a positive role, I play my age and my entry will bring about a major twist. I play a rich woman who enters the track and brings about various changes. The focus will be completely on me, I will drive the show on my shoulders and I am happy doing that." This is also why Gurdeep quit Dill Mill Gayye in which she wasn't playing the main character. Associate Vice-President, UTV, Uditanshu Mehta, says, "Gurdeep will enter the track this week. However, we haven't decided on the generation leap yet. Gurdeep's entry will be refreshing for the audiences."

lol rucha has the problems from the very beggining,its nothing new.when dolly came back,it was her pressure that led to her outsted,coz monisha and all other creative directors had said in their interviews that her entry is permemnant but rucha played politics and did that.she also had problems with bhanujeet and so many others.and now rucha who is so senior than her.thast shameful that actresses such as rucha who are so spoiltsports exist in this tv industry.

i hope gurdiio lightens this show again which was dead after dollys exit.rucha says she successfully took over from dolly sohi,thats absolute absurd.no one is happy with this serial actually.

i am glad a great actress like gurdeep is taking over, i never found rucha all that great. her acting is not all that & i was getting bored of her, i feel dolly was the life of bahabi, after rucha took over the show became dead. now ith gurdeep it will be cool again
