Radhika Madan: I have slapped all my male co- stars

For a slap sequence in her show 'Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi', Radhika Madan had to summon all her courage to hit her co-star Arjun Bijlani. The scene was that Radhika had to slap Arjun after he informed her of her onscreen mother's death and in order to get the real effect, she had to slap Arjun really hard.

"It was an intense scene. Usually , when we have such scenes, we just slap in the air and the rest is taken care of. But here, after a couple of takes, our director said that he wasn't getting the desired drama, so he asked me to slap Arjun in reality. I was really scared, but Arjun asked me to go ahead with it," she said, adding, "I have slapped all my male costars in the show, but Arjun was the first one who asked me to slap him for real. We perfected the shot in four takes and I could see Arjun's cheek was hurting quite badly."

Radhika said that in real life, she doesn't mind slapping a guy if he misbehaves with her. "I remember slapping a guy in GK M Block market in Delhi after he passed some lewd remarks. I am not a girl who will ignore such things and I had slapped that guy really hard.I think somewhere during the scene also, I summoned that Dilli wala attitude," she said.
