After saying what he had to, Arnav staged a walkout leaving Khushi behind as he knew arguments against him would be prove to be futile attempts for her. And he didn't want to waste his time arguing with her.
On the other hand, Khushi though knew that he was leaving from there couldn't stop him as she was speechless after hearing his last statement.
He really wanted to marry her?
But why?
Was it just for revenge and reputation or was there something more to it?
The exact same set of questions were troubling Arnav's mind as he was driving his way in the streets of Delhi. He tried to match the speed of the car to that of his pacing thoughts, but his attempts were in vain as his thoughts were distracting his mind so much that he couldn't concentrate on driving.
He wanted answers but there was a stressful pause to his thinking ability which was restricting his thoughts on this matter to just a confusing question.
Khushi thought for a couple of minutes about her plans for the future, before leaving Shantivan.
Though Arnav was confused, Khushi was sure of what she was doing about this.
------------- Afternoon,
Khushi was in her cabin working on a report when her phone beeped signaling that a message was received.
She glanced at her phone to read that, it was a message from Arnav. She immediately grabbed her phone and opened the message to read,
" Will pick you up at 6:00 PM for Kapoor's Party. Be ready."
Khushi knew that he would say this and hence she replied saying,
" Sure. Lavanya is coming along."
To say that Arnav was shocked, would have been an understatement.
She was coming along with Lavanya? What is she trying to prove?
Whatever it was, she can't defeat Arnav Singh Raizada in anything, even in revenge.

Party,
Khushi had convinced Lavanya to come along with her, saying that Arnav messaged her instead of Lavanya as he was hesitant to speak to her after what happened that night. Lavanya, who had become blind in Arnav's love readily believed that what Khushi was saying was the actuality.
Arnav was unaware of Khushi's and Lavanya's presence in the party. He was speaking to NK, who was present in the party as per his plan to avenge his insult by Lavanya. He had chosen an isolated place in the party for this purpose.
" NK, please don't confront Lavanya before I announce it." said Arnav, thoughtfully.
" Don't worry, Nannav. I have waited for her over the past 2 years and waiting for 2 more hours would not make a huge difference, would it?" asked NK, who was really hurt by the insults hurled towards him by Lavanya, whom he loved more than himself but she had named it to be just friendship, much to his misfortune.
Eavesdropping was not on her habit list before she met Arnav. Khushi, who was speaking to one of her business associates had overheard Arnav's and NK's conversation.
What was he going to announce now?
NK's and Lavanya's Affair?
Or our so-called relationship?
Whatever it was, it would surely effect her professional and personal fronts drastically. And she can't let it happen at any cost.
She excused herself and went towards Arnav, who was still speaking to NK about the plan. Arnav immediately stopped speaking as he saw Khushi approaching them.
" Can I please speak to you for a couple of minutes, Mr.Raizada?" asked Khushi, eyeing NK intently who instantly recognized Khushi as Lavanya's sister, as he had met her during the prom.
" Um..Sure." replied Arnav before signing NK to leave from there through his eyes.
" Yes, Khushi. What is it?" asked Arnav, maintaining a formal tone.
" What is it? Exactly. What is it that you are announcing?" asked Khushi, moving towards Arnav. The intensity which was there in his eyes made Arnav furious and to avoid doing anything he might regret, he stepped back.
" Eavesdropping is not good." said Arnav, locking his eyes with Khushi with a great intensity.
" Not when it is about your own future." replied Khushi, smartly. Seeing Arnav dumbfounded at her reply, she continued,
" Mind sparing the details about the announcement."
The tone in which she asked him the details surely exhausted the scarce amounts of patience in him. He pulled him closer to him, by grabbing her upper arms tightly.
" Don't you dare speak to me like that, Khushi. And about the announcement, you very well know the subject. It's about our future marriage." hissed Arnav, angrily.
Marriage?
There was a sound of glass breaking due to a fall, which diverted Arnav's and Khushi's attention to the cause. The sight which they beheld made them get a shock.
" Lav?"
" Lavanya??"
Lavanya's name simultaneously escaped Arnav's and Khushi's mouth seeing her right in front of them and they knew she had overheard their conversation.
Khushi immediately freed herself from Arnav's loosened grip and moved to Lavanya.
" Lav, it's not what you are thinking!" said Khushi, holding her shoulders while Lavanya jerked off her arms.

" How could you snatch my love from me, Khushi? Is this your love for me?" asked Lavanya, who was shocked that Arnav wanted to marry Khushi instead of her.

" No, Lav. I don't wanna marry him. I am forced into marrying him." said Khushi trying to explain herself, but it was of no success.

"Are you trying to tell me someone forced YOU of all the people to marry him? Who has so much of guts to force you?" asked Lavanya, sarcastically.

" Arnav Singh Raizada. He forced me to marry him. At the cost or revealing your affair with NK to the public." said Khushi, in monotonous way.

Arnav's revenge was with Lavanya and he didn't want Lavanya's and Khushi's relationship to be strained due to his revenge. Hence, he decided that he will speak for Khushi.

" Khushi is right. I am forcing her to marry me. In fact I am going to announce it in some time." said Arnav, with his hands in his pockets.

Lavanya was shocked but she refused to believe in what was happening. Her love couldn't possibly betray her at this level.

" Say this is a joke." demanded Lavanya to earn silence from them. She moved to Arnav and started hitting him with her fists while saying,

" I loved you, dammit! And this is what you give me in return. What have I done that I deserve this?"

Khushi felt tears stream down her cheeks but she couldn't stop Lavanya as she knew that if Lavanya was demanding answers then she should get them.

Arnav let her hit him because he knew he didn't do any great deed to not deserve this from Lavanya.

" You insulted my cousin NK. This was my way to avenge him. You rejected him and I reject you." said Arnav, still maintaining rigidness in his tone.

" You are wrong, Mr. Raizada! I am not rejected by you. I reject you at this moment. The person who doesn't understand the fact that love is beyond revenge doesn't deserve to be loved. And if you want to expose that so-called affair of mine and NK you can do it. But Khushi shall not marry you. For you don't deserve any good girl." said Lavanya, in a strong voice which came out of love and its pain.

Their irresistible attraction, which turned to irresistible hatred was now becoming irresistible pain for both of them.

Will this bring them closer or will it break them apart?
