Hanif Raja and Arti kandpal both won the round and went into semis.... why hanif raja didn't turn up in semi-finals??

Does n e one knows the reason behind it??

he came on tour to north america during the aug14th celebrations of pak independce day...but i dunno if the show was shot during the same time or not
