As a lady, I'm not sure if I would be able to do the same. Love can be a very selfish feeling/emotion whereas Ragini totally shows the opposite: selfless love.

P.S. Not sure if I was the one with that comment about Ragini expressing her feelings to her friend ... But I do remember I mentioned something similar yesterday :)

I think it was you .. to bring this up ..

Finally .. We're getting to see a altogether new Ragini .. Hope NB keeps herself away .. trying to further experiment with her.. The only thing she's good at .. Making pairs 😆

I really hope NB will improve Nachiket charactar too once he breaks the engagement. This week im giving him just benifit of doubt as they have to create melodrama in the engagement function

But i will keenly observe his future actions .He has to prove that he deserves her unconditional love,

I hope Nachiket's learns the lesson of choosing wisely from all this. He has been an idiot to put it rather bluntly who went around calling another person a bumbling fool. There's a saying fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Everyone seems to be taking turns in fooling him simply because of his ignorance to reality.

His choice of upholding a dead friend's promise ruined his family and 15 years of life. Now this so called obligation when he himself knows the circumstances and what impact his future is going to have, he is still undecided and making a sacrificial choice yet again.

He is basically repeating the same mistake he did 15 years ago in a different way. That is simply not done.

Agree! That is why I didn't like the way they handled the Suhaani revelation. Ragini should have only been sorry for thinking wrong about Nachiket, even though she had the right to think so since he was deliberately hiding something big from her. It was unfair to her character to put all the blame on her whereas Nachiket was actually the one who would have to feel sorry the most!

i absolutely love ragini ...first and foremost she is everything that is not a BT heroine ..hence the pleasant surprise...love her strength ...even when things are all going wrong she never shows the world that she is hurt..she stands so strong...and inspite of thinking that nachiket betrayed her she never ever gave his place in her life to anyone ...never tried to erase him from her life...her love for him shone through a lot...and the best thing is her expressive emotions only for nachiket...i just love how she can talk to him about all her feelings even now...she is at a calm place ...and even now is ready to spend her entire life waiting for him even if he moves on...the fact that their memories together are not tainted is sufficient for her...she has indeed set him free...now it is upto nachiket to come back to her

ragini is class ,elegance ,beauty ,kindness and strength..the complete woman...even with her flaws she is adorable and the reason why he could never love another after loving her...

the drunk scene when she told nachiket that pam is never going to understand how much she loves him...it is indeed true ...very few people can understand her and those who do love her ...

and Pallavi has brought so so much into this character ...her whole persona ...you sit up and notice...simplicity at its best

Great post, Pawan, if I may call you that.

But I saw it differently. Ragini was weighed down by hurt, anger, betrayal all these years, she hated the fact that she still cared for the man that had cheated on her. All of a sudden, she has realized that her Nachiket whom she loved has in fact always been worthy of her love and more. The overwhelming feeling she has is a liberating relief that her trust in him was never tampered with, that he had stayed true to her all these years just as she had. The anguish, the heartache was all a waste. They could have been together, had a beautiful family with their children, had a blissful life so on the heels of relief comes guilt and self blame, she goes from thinking he is not worthy of her love to she is not worthy of his love.

Ragini's words to him to go get married to Nivedita is spoken out of the numbing relief and happiness she feels that her husband has always been hers and unforgivable guilt.
Everything else pales into comparison with that one truth that he had not fathered Suhani.

Given time Ragini would have felt jealous and unhappy and wanted her Nachiket back in her life, she would have begrudged his time with Nivedita. It was already shown by the way she kept talking about him to Aman, calling Nachiket on the phone, inviting him to dinner to her home cooked meals, asking him if he was angry and to call her and not forget to call her, etc. A woman who has really given up on her love, happy in that her husband has remained faithful, but has now whole heartedly given him the green signal to be another woman's husband would not be calling him on the phone like he is hers, inviting him over like he belongs to her and her alone. She doesn't even hesitate when Nachiket tells her he is sitting with RK, she talks to him like he IS still her husband.

And no, I don't believe a woman could easily and happily set her husband free emotionally (Nachiket still is to all intents and purposes Ragini's husband) especially when she knows full well that he reciprocates her love.

Ragini was in a temporary state of euphoria and shock but would have come to her senses sooner or later just like Nachiket did today.
