What happened to his voice on this song? man it was soo bad specially on high pitch and it was serisouly looking as he is copying sonu. i loved javed ji advise to him, see after that he sounded much better in 2nd song.. i thought in sonu songs he tries to copy sonu only thats why he has been referred as a copycat

javed jt was so honest and mature in his comments 👏 emon should really believe in his style and voice. he mostly try to sound like sonu! javed ji was very right in that aspect..

No way...You are Ankita and Amit fan...so dont say like this. Judge with honesty. HE WAS BEST TODAY. NOT ONLY HE, BUT FOR ME ALL 4 WERE ROCKING TODAY. I WILL MAKE ALL 4 OF THEM INDIAN IDOL AT THIS MOMENT OF TIME. THEY SHOWED THEIR STRONG SIDE EVERY WAY. SALUTE TO ALL 4 and SALUTE TO THEIR HARD WORK. THEY WERE JUST ROCKING TODAY.

I agree with you, dearie. I'm not just saying this because I'm an Emon fan, but he sounded wonderful and very clear. As for sounding like a Sonu-copy cat, I don't think he even sounded a little bit like Sonu!( During this performance) Before watching the gala, I decided to see just how much Sonu and Emon sound alike, to do this I listened to "Kal Ho Na Ho". Sung by of course, Sonu Nigam. Then when I watched the gala, I compared the two....at times they sound quite a lot alike, but during the 10th gala, Emon did not sound anything like Sonu!

Javed Saab, is a wonderful judge, but I do think his comments were uncalled for. Emon's voice was melodious, on key, he hit all the notes and was not a Sonu Nigam-copy cat, I find it hard to believe that Javed could even have anything negative to say.

I completely disagree with the author of this post. I really wish Sonu or Shankar Ehsaan Loy were here today. They would have given Javed Ji a good thrashing for calling this an easy song which anybody can sing. Like Alisha said, this is a modern classic. Classic songs are hard to sing and this particular song is very hard to sing. Noone can do as good a job as Sonu.

Hats off to Emon for picking this song. For this song, it is not enough to sound like Sonu, you have to take the same harkats, put in the same feeling. Emon managed to do that, though obviously you cannot compare it to the original, Emon did an excellent job.

If any contestant showed their versatality today, it was Emon. The way he changes his voice to suit different songs, his high pitch, low notes- everything was fantastic today.
