That beginning scene had me laughing my guts out. Kabir and Ananya think so similarly. No that's not what had me laughing. It was Kabir's expressions. He would start and Ananya would finish his sentence. 😆 And then Kabir's "tum hi bolo". Totally reminded me of all those times when me and my friends finish each other's sentences and then get angry, but then start laughing. 😆

And then it becomes a test. But I loved how the 2 used their detection skills to solve the case for the police. And I also loved how Kabir brought Ananya on the call.

The other thing I really loved was the quick editing and fast-pace. There was no waiting. Immediately we're shown the Inspector's false statement to catch the murderer. That was some excellent editing.

Ronnie-in-the-middle. Kabir and Ananya ke beech Ronnie phas gaya hai and the way the director showed that was well-shot. I also like how Kabir asked her how she's going to get home and then gave her his driver even as he's going out to dinner. On the one hand that was a nice move, while on the other it obviously made Ananya feel sad. Ronnie keh de yaar! Keh de! If you keep standing around and waiting for Ananya to understand, it'll never lead anywhere.

Jala jala jala. Manav jala. 😆 Full marks to the actor for the expressions. If anything, this serial has fine actors who can speak more with their face and body language than with their words.

Just when I thought the director is wasting time with Malvaika and Kabir's dinner and Malvaika's obvious flirting, Manav makes his grand entry and ruins the mood. That is for Malvaika. For me he spiced it up especially when he questioned if there's someone in Kabir's life and then the way Kabir mentioned he was married. Bang on!

Ananya dear you're falling in love. No one thinks so much about their hero going out to dinner with someone else. It's also a nice contrast to keep going between Malvaika-Kabir-Manav's uncomfortable scene to Ananya's quiet and loving scene.

Kabir leaves angry and Malvaika is obviously angry. She's obviously wanting to get close to Kabir.

Ananya, on the other hand, is surely falling for Kabir. And the contrast from business to personal was again well done. Ananya is falling into a dilemma for sure. On one hand, Kabir keeps rising in her eyes, but, on the other, there are things that are bothering her quite a bit.

Manav is becoming a typical saas-bahu serial vamp. Always planning against Kabir. 😆 And finally some realism when Ananya is unable to talk to Kabir and instead has to leave to get an interview. Well at least she told Ronnie. Ronnie I love you! Your sarcasm was mind-blowing in the scene!

Why is Manav after Kabir's stingers? What is going to get from them?

Yes some footwork as well. And some nice points into Kabir's and Ananya's past. Kabir isn't power-hungry, he's just hungry to get reality out from the top place. I also like how they didn't show a flashback, but just a voiceover.

PRECAP: Kabir's past is slowly coming out and Manav is going to use it incorrectly. Damn you Manav! And great acting by the actor! Koi toh iska naam bata do!

@ Bold: Just what has me intrigued too..
The timing couldn't have been more apt..

Manav is out to publicly defame Kabir, while Ananya has started to question her budding feelings for him..
How the two stories entwine together to bring out the truth, and the consequences it might have on Kaya - remains to be seen.. 😉

Fantastic analysis, as always.. Oh and honestly, Manav could give Komolika and Shyam Babua a run for their money.. 😆

What I found worth mentioning is the fact that Kabir calls her Tum' otherwise.. But only when he has to taunt her, does he revert back to Miss Kashyap.' - The "tum" really highlights the informal part of their relationship, while the Ms. Kashyap part reminds her that she needs to keep proving herself. That's how I see it.

So, just when I expected him to give her the angry look for interrupting him, he does the exact opposite.. - I just expected him to say Ms Kashyap aap mujhe yun kat nahi sakte hain or something like that. And instead we got the look that I would give my friend when I felt like pummelling her for finishing my sentence and stealing my glory. 😆

The hit-and-run case is actually being dealt with sincerity. The police's involvement, running background checks, and then analysis of the info - those are the steps, we wanted them to SHOW us.. - And they show them so well! No long scenes, but no cutting it out either. They are there and how! 👏

Kabir, meanwhile is clueless about Ananya's growing affection, and well, it should be that way.. But somehow, I do feel that he knows Malvika was trying to hit on him.. - Honestly I feel the opposite. If anything he knows that she worships him like a hero and maybe he knows a little bit about her growing affection. After all very little misses his sharp glances.

Tarini's name crops up, and he instantly identifies her.. We all know how he's going to twist it to suit his purpose.. Using Kabir's relationship with her to defame him, by pointing fingers at his professionalism, Manav thinks he can get Kabir ousted from KKN.. - Well it depends. If somehow they can prove that Kabir and Tarini are just good friends or something like brother/sister, it could prove to be a right trick.

She's a stringer. Once her identity is compromised, she might not be of any use to Kabir.. Either way, Manav's cheap stint is going to cost him something.. - I have full expectations that Kabir either has something up his sleeve or our shrewd saas, Khalid, will give his shrewd bahu, Manav, a taste of his own medicine.

I always love your reviews so much. I have a hard time sometimes getting out what I think and then when I read what you write suddenly it all just comes flowing out.

He could give any villain/vamp a run for their money. Heck I enjoy him more than Dansh from Mahakumbh that's airing on Life OK and that's saying something because I totally like love Rahil Azam (the actor) and every character he has ever played.
