Ranbir Kapoor: I am in love

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are dating for quite sometime now and while their actions have made it totally evident, the two superstars have never come out in the open talking about their relationship. While Katrina has always shied away from the questions on her love life, Ranbir recently got miffed and walked out of a press conference after he was asked about his relationship with Katrina.

Like most other celebrity couples, there have been numerous rumours about Ranbir and Katrina walking the aisle sometime this year. Rumours have refused to die down and hence Ranbir took the opportunity to clarify his stand on his relationship. There have been numerous occasions where Ranbir has been asked about his private life and he's simply doged the questions. But at the second trailer launch event for Bombay Velvet, the actor seemed to have accepted everything and openly spoke about it.

Talking about the numerous reports of his impending marriage in November, Ranbir said, " I think you cannot keep it private. We are actors and it should not be. Wedding is a celebration and I just say this.. (gives a long pause) My wedding date was fixed six years back. Ever since I came into this industry, everyone has been saying I am getting married. It's a special day so let me announce it."

The actor clarified that right now, 'there are no such plans'. But he did accept that love has made him more responsible today. "I am in love and I do feel a sense of committment and responsiblity. But when it comes to wedding, so much speculation spoils the fun. You want to set a date and you want to really celebrate. I would request media to stop speculating about my wedding date because I will put the date out. I will not hide and get married. I also want to celebrate the institution."
