Is anu doing the right thing by constantly badgering rajat to forgive his mother?
i dont think so. what minty did is no small mistake. right from their honey moon she has been trying to influence rajat against anu. anu maybe does not know the extent of manipulation minty did and has taken it lightly but rajat knows the extent she went to and any normal person especially a son will take time to forgive and forget something like this.
secondly minty's ego is going to be her biggest enemy. rajat knows that she will not hesitate to do anything to satisfy her ego. she needs the treatment he is giving her to understand the hurt she has caused him
by going out of the way to protect anu , he is only emphasising to minty that anu will be equally important to him as her.
by helping dev , he is only emphasising that he will not tolerate any kind of wrong doing from minty to anyone.
Rajat loves his mom but seriously believes she has wronged him. he needs time to deal with his pain. by constantly nagging him to make up with his mother anu in her eagerness to be mahaan is doing a disfavour to both herself and rajat.
Rajat's behaviour assumes importance because sareen has not been able to put minty in her place and if anyone can drill some sense into mintyit is rajat
Rajat has taken the first step by remaining at home, inviting minty to the award function and telling her that he is what he is today because of her. anu should be happy with all these developments and allow him his space. she is becoming nagging and is forever bringing up this topic on all occasions . Rajat loves anu so much that he puts up with her mahaanta. but then there may come a time when rajat may just lose his patience with anu and if he does i won't blame rajat
