Just saw the episode...i have got very mixed reactions about everyone's plan
Freya's plan is actually a good one and Elijah's double cross just ensured Hope's safety which was not so much possible in original plan
Jackson and Hayley's plan still sucks. Hope is a Mikaelson and will always be a Mikaelson. Tell me how many supernaturals are there who have blood of a vampire, powers of witch and temper of werewolf in them? If what Dahlia says holds any truth then Hope needs to remain with Mikaelsons. Besides Hope is freak even for supernatural world so she anyways will not get the a normal childhood. I know Jackson and Hayley meant well but have they ever considered what will Hope go through when she comes to know of her real parentage? Won't she be as shattered as Klaus and Hayley were to know about their truth? Wouldn't she feel betrayed for never knowing one of her parent?
I really felt bad for Dahlia. She really went through bad things but i still won't compare it with Klaus's. When did Klaus's siblings fell in love with people who wanted him dead? When did they ever tried to run away or side with people who hurt him? On the contrary they always hated people who hurt Klaus with equal passion, for example: Mikael! Dahlia and Klaus do share sentiments but Esther's betrayal to Dahlia cannot be compared with Elijah daggering Klaus. Elijah and his other siblings are trying to protect Hope, who happens to be Klaus's daughter. Did they not stood beside him when he needed them? Did not Rebekah come back to take Hope when Klaus needed someone trustworthy? Klaus's siblings meant well for him and his daughter even if they choose a wrong time to show it.
Overall the episode was really strong in emotions. For the first time i could really see what Jackson and Hayley wanted but i found their idea a bit delusional. Hope can never have a normal childhood so it's better to prepare her the worst.
Dahlia's hatred for Esther was absolutely justified and it might be possible that some part of her story holds truth but Klaus should nto fall for it because he never knows when Dahia will turn the things for worst and with her channeling Hope's powers, Klaus wont stand much chance against her and without his siblings, I hope Klaus does have a backup plan.
Cami, Vincent and Davina were really good. I'm actually enjoying Davina becoz for the first time i have seen someone so dedicated to Kol. I enjoyed watching it and tried not to get irritated with Jayley. Btw i still can't believe Hayley is so delusional that she saw how Elijah picked up and threw Jackson which means non of these wolves stand a chance against Dahlia and if Freya could find Hayley, Dahlia wouldn't?
