So let's start working in the reverse ... 😉
Time and again, we ahve discussed about our fave NR scenes till date. But is there any specific NR scene that we ahve not liked or preferred it to happen in a different way?

Or the scene did not gel with the situation?

I am sure there may be one or two such scenes definitely, though such scenes have nothign to do with the actign capabilities of the actors. they just didn't work.

So let's hear if there are indeed any such scenes?

I personlly didn't like the Holi scene and feel it didn't have much empathy or ethos or emotion attached to it. It was just done for the heck of it and was a bit off the mark. Just my opinion though.

I wish they had done it beautifully with a nice FB thrown in, which could have shown how important Holi was for both Nachiket and Ragini. After all, going by the present trend, they have had celebrated at least 4 Holis together.

Nice post! If we can share their ups, we can also discuss their downs.

I will have to agree with you about the whole Holi excitement. That was a let down. Nothing as such happened and we got to see more. about all the other characters except for NeiRa. Like you said, they could have added a nice FB of a memorable Holi for them.

A recent one is the revelation scenes. It was okay to be very honest and I might be a bit critical here but the angst was just missing. A gap of 15 years should be long enough to vent it all out.

Perhaps there are more but luckily the good scenes are taking over the not so good ones, which is a good sign 😉

I think a few scenes could have definitely been done better
1. Holi scene: the moment was so special and came out so well when they showed it in the precap. They had that wind effect when Neil applied colour and then there was that part from baghban holi song "mukhde pe rang lagaye bada rangila sawariya".
But in the main episode they played out as if it was just another NR scene with their normal background score and no wind effect.🤢
Plus there was no faayda of getting Neil high on bhang..

2. Bidaai scene: when they showed that fb where Ragini told Neil that every father cries on his daughter's bidaai, I had huge expectations from the sequence with respect to NR.but they limited it to Neil putting his hand on Ragini's hand to console her and even that wasn't highlighted enough.
I so wished they would show an elaborate sequence with Neil also crying and telling Ragini how right she was in the fb and how much he missed Nishi.

3. Fire scene during holika dehen: again was very short. I wish they would have gone for that common sequence where hero burns his hand and heroine tends to it. They were in such an intense situation where Neil's engagement was announced and the scene would have looked beautiful.

The holi scene obviously where he put color on her face was not of much use. It should be presented in a more intense way and of longer duration.
Second was of haldi sequence. I really thought that they had given us fb of their haldi n mehndi rasm. More fbs of their whole shaadi sequence as they had their marriage in d same farm house.

The entire Holika dahan and Holi scenes were pretty run of the mill, though there was a lot of possibilities there.
I agree not every occasion could have a FB but at least a few nice ones should be further shown, apart from the ones that are now repeated for all episodes.

Also, am not much of a fan of the FB dance sequence in the Disco on Those Naina- when Nachiket was dancing with some other girl and hallucinating about Ragini. I found the lighting to be so responsible for not letting us see N's emotions at that point. It was supposedly the turning point.

@ Bold - That scene really should have connected them more as parents. It was such a sad moment and yet, there was not much bonding between the three.

The flashback scenes narrating their love story. Very very rushed. Total disappointment!
Secondly, the overall reason for their divorce was also very stupid and amateurish. The reason for divorce was the biggest mystery ever. They could have handled it better..much better.

The haldi and mehendi rasams were a big big let down. I had expected some flashbacks.. but it was shown like wearing beautiful beautiful clothes, getting ready and going nowhere! I don't even remember what had happened in those scenes.
Also one scene for which I'm still waiting, DDLG moment! It was the biggest prank played by NB on us!

The whole farmhouse wedding was a major letdown. What all one expected when they said it's going to bring back memories etc. None of the scenes impacted them, either the past memories or anything. We just had a new set of troubles to deal with.
