PART 24

Next morning

Maan got up early and got dressed..

" I think I should talk to chashmish before we leave for office .." he thought and went downstairs.

" heyaa maan.." vihang met him in the hall..

" good morning " maan replied him curtly and walked ahead..

" maan listen to me.. " Vihang called him out nervously..

Since yesterday night he was worried for geet.. usually she would come down and help him with breakfast but she dint come out of her room..after her and Rk's chat session..

Here geet was broken and there Rk was blaming himself for everything.. So he thought to talk to geet alone...

" maan aaj office mai zayda kaam nai hai.. So I was thinking I shouldn't come with u ... and u knw.. Geet ki bhi zarrurt nai hai u have meetings..lined up uska toh koi.. Kaam nai hai.." he muttered... as they took their seats on dinning table..

Maan rolled his eyes and stared him..

" i.. I mean.. kal we just saw the movie I was planning to take her out..." This was the only way to spend some time alone with geet and explain her.. vihang thought

" no..." maan replied straightforward

" she isn't here do to sight seeing She is here for work.." His reply with deadly expression made vihang shut his mouth...

" But maan...I.."

" he is right vihang sir..."

Vihang paused hearing her voice and turned..to see geet standing there all dressed for office..

" maan sir I m ready for office..." She implied.. glancing both vihang and maan.. Vihang.. was stunned looking her...soo causual today as yesterday she was soo wrecked..

Maan nodded..and glanced at vihang who was staring at geet...

He clenched his jaws.. and poked him " if u r done staring her..get my coffe.." he griited.. startling from his thoughts..

" ya... ya.. ill get coffee..and tea.." vihang mumbled... standing on his feet and moved towards kitchen..

Geet tucked her hair and sat on the farthest corner of the table...downcasting her eyes..

Yesterday's incident had killed something within her.. She was deprived of optimism , faith and hope for their relation... Now she was clear that if maan loved samira there was no room for a relationship between her and maan.. And Rk cant change this fact..neither would she want to be with maan who is in love with someone else..

It was way too much for to take.. Rk hid this fact ..as he wanted her to work on their relationship But now there is no relationship... She loved maan and if he loved someone else she'll be happy to leave..

But at the end she is also human.. Rk's betrayal is something she cant bear... She was frustrated now..everytime its Rk or maan making decisions for her.. But this time.. she wont let them decide..for her..

" chashmish..." Maan called out to her..

She up casted her eyes..staring him

" who...kal.. danny I mean.. whatever he said.. i..m..sorry about that.." his eyes lowered on their own accord.. he did feel guilty for whaetevr danny said...but wouldn't accpt that..

" hmm.." she hummed.. She was not in a zone to understand his words and react to him appropriately..

Maan glanced upwards hearing her hmm.. He blinked his eyes...staring geet who was looking right through him yet not looking him...

" who..samira... k..baare..mai..tumhe.."

" its okay sir.. I m ur secretory ..sir... I wont interfere in ur personal affairs.. " she replied.. stretching her lips..to forge a smile ..

Maan hadn't expected such an answer... Her voice wasn't meek but confident and strong..

" here is ur coffe..." Vihang arrived that moment with maan's coffee

Later they all stood to leave but vihang received a phone call. His frnd was hospitalized and he had to be there...

halfheartedly he bid them bye and left for the hospital..

Office was hectic.. both maan and geet were busy in their respective jobs...

Geet was working monotously... her mind was still revolving around samira and Rk. She so much wished to call Rk but just couldn't gather courage.. She was too hurt to respond back at his lie..

In evening... finally maan wrapped up his work... and dragged his feet outside the office.. He slumped inside the car and asked... the watchmen to call geet..

" Sir geet mam left about an hour ago.." he informed him..

" whattt????? Hour ago..how did she go..and where?? " He questioned him...

" dammm chasmish.." he punched the steering wheel.. and rolled out to search her..

He looked for her everywhere... on the streets..on the way back home... On the roads..But couldn't spot her ...

" dam where the hell are u chasmish..." he was worried... He wanst even sure about whether she knew her way back home... He was agitated on her action... How can she just leave without informing him.. Wasn't she her responsibility...

After searching geet for 2 hours maan headed back home..

He thought maybe she would have arrived... safely . To his dismay she wanst home.. He was continuously calling her.. But she wasn't picking up..

He was pacing back n froth...contemplating what to do... hell the girl is out in the city which is new to her alone...

He bit his lip..ruffling his hair...

what should do I do...I hope she is fine..." he muttered... Her face was flashing in front of his eyes .. His heart was restless... and mind thinking all sort of bad things..

" I think I should report to the police..." he finally concluded when he wanst able to hold back anymore..

He grabbed the car keys and his caot... And as soon as he stepped towards the door.. geet entered...

" chamsish" Maan spoke... running towards her..

" chamsish are you okay..." he held her arms..pulling her closer...

Geet frowned...spotting him so edgy ...

" m fine.." she replied...feeling uncomfortable with his hold ..

" kaha ti tum..." he asked her...tightening his hold...He was glad that she was okay

Geet pressed her lips.. and slightly pushed his hands.... " at park..." She clutched..her purse and...walked past him..

" park??" Maan flared his nose..

He marched towards her and ...yanked her close..

She was startled with his pull and landed...on his chest...

She hissed..feeling his stiff arms around her waist..

" mai yaha tumhe pagalo ki tarah dhund raha tha.. and u were enjoying ur time in park??" He spat... in anger...

Geet tapered her eyes..at him.. and tried to pull his arms... to which he jammed her inside his arms..

She glared him... making him stunned..

" Mai yaha tumhare liye pareshan tha.. and where the hell were you?? " Maan gritted angrily

Geet narrowed her brows..staring right into his eyes and then jerked his hands..pushing him away

" aapko..apne sec k aisa..nai karna chayiee sir..." She uttered...in a mild voice..

" office hours are over I m not ur employee any more..." Maan was tongue tied hearing her words... her voice was prominent yet soft... Otherwise her quavering and unstable voice..

He looked away..fisting his hands.. dam she was right.. But he did not like her words..

" why did u go the park..u could have let me knw..." he replied...hoarsely flaring his nose

" sir... ek employee ko uske boss k sath akele ghar jana shoba nai deta.. and I can ...I can take care of myself..." This came as a tight slap on his face... those were his words..But it wasn't her intention.. she said this accepting the fact ..that they were nothing more than employee and boss...

She wanted to be alone for some time... Whole day she avoided rk's calls this was making her more guilty... and then since vihang wasn't there a ride with maan will be suffocating for her.. She wished to stay far away from him.. though she wont be able to take it...

This time he turned his face to look at her... and found her calm... but her eyes were blank.. She was motionless

Neither did she say anything nor maan...He fixed his eyes on her..trying to read her barren hazels..

" hey guys..." vihang entering the hall...and breaking their eye contact..

Geet looked away... and so did maan..

Her words were spinning in his mind as he laid down on the bed...

" chasmish ki ankhee kuch alag hi keh rai ti.. her behavior was not the same..."

And then shook his head..

" may be I m thinking too much" and shrugged of chasmish's thoughts...

very emotional update...feeling bad for geet, rk hidden the truth of samira from geet and got her married to maan... after knowing maan is in love with samira geet is hurt badly... she doesn't even want to talk with RK... maan worried about geets missing for somtime and her cold look made maan to think for sometime... but maan is maan he is selfish...precap???
