Dev returns to Kaajjal who has bought some pakoras from the small tea-stall by the roadside and has ordered some tea, and they smile at each other remembering their dhaba outing and Dev's choking on the spicy pakoras. he winks at her and asks "Madamji, aaj phir hume hamaare pyaar ki pareeksha deni hogi...in pakodon ke kha kar?" She smiles and nods her head, and then when Dev looks at her and then at the pakoras.... He tentativley bites on one and realises that they are not spicy and eats one smiling lovingly at Kaajjal as he realises she would never feed him anything spicy. This was a special order.....
They enjoy the moments together feeding each other the pakoras and then leave for the temple.....
At the temple Kaajjal does a special pooja on Dev's name and offers her prayers to Ardha-naareshwar...... With her eyes closed she prays for his long life and begging the Lord so that whenever she dies...she should die a suhaagan.....
Dev closes his eyes and prays...that he loves Kaajjal and only Kaajjal's life matters to him...so please grant her all her wishes and also says that sorry for being selfish but please let me be with her in life or in death......
After spending some time at the temple and enjoying the beautiful calm surroundings...they plan to leave and Kaajjal suddenly sees some chudi stalls and Dev eyes her knowing what she wants. He hands her the car keys and says"I shall be there in a minute. Go and sit..." she smiles not knowing why he does that and sits in the car. After a few minutes he returns with a small packet in his hand. He sits inside and turns to her.."Apnaa haath do Kaajjal.." So without asking questions perplexed..she gives her right hand out and Dev smiles into her eyes and removes some red chudis.... She smiles again recollecting the last time and he puts on them on to her hands. she jingles them, touches them lovingly and with misty eyes looks at him. He winks at her and says "Sorry for breaking the earlier ones...But then these are more special..." She raises her hand and lovingly cups his face and says "I know Dev...these are really special..." They move on and reach a small guest house at the outskirts of the small town. Kaajjal says "Dev, tum thak gaye honge with so much driving, why don't we rest here till tomoroow morning and then we could leave...." So Dev says "Madamji, aap ka hukuk sar aankhon par.." and they book a room for the night.
After esting a bit they leave in the evening to explore the place around and are told that there is a beautiful sunset point at a nearby cliff..... they decide to visit there....
At the cliff they watch the sun set with their arms around each other. More than the sun they have eyes only for each other.... Kaajjal feeling the apprehension rising slowly and with every paasing moment..feeling his nearness making her more and more impatient with longing...Dev feeling his passion and desires leaping higher and the flames are burning him with the same longing....
They decide to leave but suddnly it darkens as the sun is already down and rain drops start falling.....They make a dash and at the base of the small cliff and reach a small shed...(Lonavla types.. 😉 ) He knocks at the door but at no reply they enter in gingerly. He soon lights a small fire as its getting very chilly.... He drapes his wet coat around her and goes and checks the outside and secures the door. She sits near the fire and reminesces their Lonavla time and gets a faint sheen of tears as he had snapped her head off when she tried putting a bandage on is wounded hand....
she comes back as he softly raises her chin towrds his face...knowledge evident in his eyes as to what she is thinking..."Sorry Kaajjal, sorry for every tear or unhappiness that I have ever given you...Sor..." she cuts him off and hugs him tightly... He collects her and leans on the hay stacked bale behind them and takes her with him. She is between his knees and looks up at him and wipes the beads of water dripping from his wet hair. She takes off the duppatta and wipes his fae and wrings it while all he does is stare at her face with growing impatience as the flames of desire are burning him..... She too feels the passion that is mirrored in her eyes and they darken.... He stills her hands and cups her face gently drawing it towrds his and kisses her forehead, eyes, brows, nose travelling excrutiatingly slowly towrds her ears and he whispers 'I love you Kaajjal... I love you..." she gulps and whispers words sounding like the whistling wind..'I ...lllove you too...DDevv......' it ends on a long sigh.........as he kisses the curve of her neck.... Her head is thrown back while he in short gasps feels her hands at his nape pulling his hair and raking her fingers through the silky tresses..... He stops and makes an upward journey of his lips paying homage to the soft creamy skin at her neck again and to her ears till it ends on the soft pink trembling petals.... huskily whispering her name... and then groaning his impatience...crushing her to him.........
They both break gasping in air and she slides her hands to open the buttons of his now almost dry shirt. He rasps her name out at the small seductive gesture as her eyes are like making love to him and speaking thousands of bold words.... He grabs her trembling hands and completes the task that she so slowly is taking eons to complete and swiftly gets them both out of the cumbersome barriers........
Soft whispers...raspy rantings and gasps are the only sounds that compliment the sounds of the burning embers..... The Khanak of her chudis and his heavy breathing and each whispering the other's name...promising to be there for each other for life and even in death..... As no one could separate them now......
