Television's best daily soaps mostly rest on the lead pair's chemistry. Raman-Ishita of "Yeh Hai Mobbatein", Ranveer-Ishani of "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" and Sooraj-Sandhya of "Diya Aur Baati Hum" are some of the popular onscreen couples who have won the hearts of viewers with their infectious camaraderie.
The results of an IBTimes India poll conducted few weeks ago show that Ranveer Vaghela and Ishani Parekh's love-hate relationship is more popular than the bitter-sweet Raman Bhalla-Ishita Iyer jodi.
The former finished first with 68.35% votes, whereas Raman-Ishita received 15.89% votes. Naitik-Akshara of "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and Sooraj-Sandhya bagged third and fourth positions with 8.72% and 6.54% votes, respectively.
Interestingly, RV and Ishani didn't have to work too hard on their incredible onscreen chemistry as they share great friendship off it. Played by Shakti Arora and Radhika Madan, the actors have a healthy equation going on between them.
"We're very comfortable with each other off screen. We tease each other about everything from how we deliver dialogues, stand, sit! So on screen, we don't have to try hard at all. It all comes very naturally. Sometimes we make up our own dialogues in between shots and forget about the script. So I guess there's something that clicks," Deccan Chronicle quoted Radhika as saying.
Spilling interesting behind-the-scenes tidbits, Shakti further said they often crack jokes when asked to look into one another's eyes while shooting a romantic scene.
Radhika said Shakti, at times, gets really professional and when he does so, begins to live in his character even after the scene has been shot.
On the other hand, Shakti described his co-actress as a confident person. "Radhika is always confident and if she is sure about things, then she is super-confident! I would not like to change anything about her, but some times, she has mood swings."
