A/N : Those who have read my earlier works would be knowing I try to use our beloved GEET scenes in my FFs but my way

Keeping that tradition alive I'll be using GEET office track scenes in this ff too

Part - 2

"Fate doesn't care about your plans ... cos it has its own plans and ... ways of implementing them!!!"

Maan was exasperated with this both physical and emotional turmoil! From past few years he would schedule all his projects in such a way that most of the time he would be away from India. This time too he had just come here for few days, to check out the progress of their ongoing projects plus also had to finalize few prestigious projects.

But the a series of recent events specially post Mohinder's attack were enough for him to get a whiff of the conspiracy against KC ... something or rather someone was trying to sabotage their reputation and business. Though he had already tightened all the loop holes and beefed the security etc to safeguard his Company and their staff but still there had been few instances which couldn't be ignored.

The current scenario didn't permit him to leave from here and the encounter with Geet that night was making it unbearable to stay here!

With a strong resolve to not let his personal chaos hamper his professional commitments he decided to get to the root of this matter and hunt for those who were trying to create trouble for his company. Though Geet's images tormented him day in and out but in his hectic schedule an important fact had slipped out of his mind that Geet would be joining him soon.

While Maan was still thinking of ways to distract himself from this ... newly acquired sensuous torture!

... Reality came crashing down on him witnessing the sole reason of his torment standing in the adjacent cabin dressed in a pure white salwar khameez gleefully admiring a bouquet of red roses.

An angelic glow adorned her face, her dimpled smile dazzling in the already illumined room. The red colour of roses like matching the blush on her face. The colour of her dress perfectly complimenting her pearly white complexion.

She looked ethereal!

'An alluring welcome after numerous agonzing nights!'

An instant sense of calm settled down in him! ... It felt as if a sudden gust of cool breeze was blown over his blazing heart! ... And all his restlessness, fatigue and rage of the past few days vanished in a moment!

Just a mere glimpse of this enchantress had ended his distress of days!

He was so lost gazing at her that he failed to realize when she moved out of her cabin. A mild tinkling sound of her jewellery and a soft murmur broke his reverie, making him aware that the object of his interest now stood at his cabin door awaiting his permission to enter in.

He couldn't even laugh at his own plight!

This girl ... without his permission had not only entered his life but had also managed to turn it upside down! ... Making it a living hell for him! ... And after a series of torturous days now this damsel stands innocently at his cabin door seeking his permission.

"Sir ... may I come in?"

Getting a grip over himself ... He just hummed in response pretending to concentrate on some random file placed on his table but ...

It seems the destiny had other plans!

Geet reluctantly walked in followed by a peon, who swiftly placed the huge bouquet of red roses on the nearby coffee table and scurried out not wanting to face the wrath of his boss. Though Maan's face was masked ... sans any emotion but his temper was ticking in!

The mere sight of the bouquet had irked him. Had it not been for Geet's presence in the cabin, he would have actually strangled that peon alive for even bringing those flowers in his sight!

Aadi wasn't at office since morning, so after settling her things in her new cabin Geet had moved towards the reception to inquire about Maan's schedule for the day. The information that Maan had an important meeting scheduled in less than an hour and the fact that her Maan sir would be here any moment ... brightened up Geet's face!

Geet rushed to the pantry to make the necessary preparations, on her way back to the cabin Pinky called out to her. While Geet was still in conversation with Pinky, a delivery boy had turned up for delivering this huge bouquet for Maan.

Totally unaware about her Maan sir's likes n dislikes, temparament and his outrage ... Geet excitedly received the bouquet. As she was already holding a tray in her hands she requested the peon to help her with the bouquet and swiftly headed back to her cabin before Pinky or the staff could warn her of the consequences. And then the alarm bell indicating Maan's arrival echoed through the office forbidding any further attempts to stop Geet.

Geet was a bit taken aback by the peon's weird behaviour but let it go assuming maybe Maan sir preferred it that way. Placing the mug on his table she called out for his attention.

"Sir.."

Still seething in rage Maan somehow controlled himself from bursting out and looked up at her ... then following her gaze at the mug placed right in front of him. Inorder to avoid any more trouble and distract his mind from this bewitching beauty he absently picked up the mug and sipped the liquid ... only to spit it out the very next moment.

"Yeh kya hain?" Getting up from his seat he shouted.

"Masala Chai" Trembling in fear she somehow mumbled.

Geet's quivering voice was enough for Maan to know that he had scared her again ... He turned away from her regretting his behavior and then

calmly stated.

"Geet ... main chai nahi ... black coffee pita hoon."

She looked up at him ... Her eyes slowly brimming with tears ... Her fear was immediately replaced by guilt, as she realized that her mindless act had spoiled his morning!

She should have inquired about his tastes and preferences in advance but in her excitement to work with him ... she ruined it all!

Maan felt a pang of pain witnessing her tears, he was still trying to find words to diffuse the tension when Geet suddenly tried to grab the mug from his hands.

"I'm sorry sir ... woh maine ... main abhi ... aap ke liye coffee lekar aati hoon."

Not expecting her swift move ... Maan's grip on the mug loosened and the boiling hot tea spilled all over him.

Geet gasped in shock ... And ... this time her tears started streaming down her cheeks irritating Maan all the more!

Out of concern Geet moved close to him and started caressing his torso trying to lessen the burning sensation caused by the hot tea. Little did she know the impact of hot liquid was long forgotten cos now the feathery touch of her soft hands was igniting another kind of fire within him!

Even through his clothes Maan could feel her soft caresses ... the carnal urge kicked in ... that familiar force that had been tormenting him since days, started gushing through him ... again!

Not able to handle this sensuous assault anymore he grabbed her hands to free himself of her seducing touches!

"Geet ... main kar loonga" He prayed she leaves this cabin at the earliest but ...

... But his sudden and tight grip on her hands made her loose her balance and she landed straight in Maan's arms. Thankfully the table behind supported both of them from falling down.

Time stood still!

Maan stood resting against the table with Geet over him ... Both Maan and Geet stood in a near hug position ... Maan still holding her hands while Geet's face resting in crux of his neck.

Non knew what happened ... non moved for few moments ... like some spell was cast over them!

Maan was the first one to realize their position! ... How could he not when her softness was plastered to his hard chest ... her warm breath on his skin felt like electric currents passing through his body ... her mild scent was seducing his senses!

He was aroused and how!!!

A slight movement of Maan was enough to alert Geet! ... Mixed feelings of attraction and embarrassment aggravated her nervousness.

In an attempt to create some distance between them, she tried to free her hands from his hold but Maan had still not loosened his grip on her hands and Geet's abrupt try to free herself caught him off guard as Geet's hand hit his eye ... Though it wasn't a forceful blow but still it did hurt him.

Geet closed her eyes cursing herself for creating so much trouble to him that too on her first day. Just a couple of minutes ago she had nearly burnt him by spilling the hot tea over him and now she hurt his eye.

{Only if she knew how much and what trouble, she had actually caused him since that night when he had laid his eyes on her!}

"Sir ... woh main ... I'm ... so ... Sorry ... "

"Geet ... its okay ... I'm fine ... tum jao yahan se ... " Maan assured her rubbing his eyes.

She was so ashamed of her herself! ... Even after hurting him so much Maan Sir was still being so kind to her ... telling her not to worry ... She wiped off her tears and with a resolve not to fall weak this time! ... She had done enough damage and now was the time to make amends!

"Main Maan sir ki saari takleef door kar doongi!" She promised herself

{Me wondering ... really? ... Bechara Maan!}

Putting aside all her inhibitions and shyness ... she moved close to Maan cupping his face, she gently moved his hand away from his eye. Then holding the edge of her soft dupatta she lightly caressed his eye. Feeling a bit better Maan slowly opened his eyes and found Geet's face mere inches away from his.

She had raised on her tiptoes and was observing his hurt eye, she further closed the distance between them and closing her own eyes she gently started blowing air from her mouth to soothe his pain while he just kept gaping at her in disbelief!

Maan was drinking in her beauty!

She was so close to him ... A very mild and pleasant aroma emitting from her, something like fragrance of a baby lotion ... strangely this scent was intoxicating him! ... Her loose curls that had escaped from her tight braid cascaded down her cheeks were not only tickling his skin but also his senses! ... While her silver jhumkhis that danced against her face seemed like they were taunting Maan! ... How much he envied those fortunate earrings which kissed Geet's skin everytime she moved her head.

... How he wished that it were his lips that could relish over that glowing satin skin ... his body covering her petite frame ... his head buried in those silky tresses ... And his senses drowning in her pure aura!

Maan had been with the most hot and happening girls ... who were head to toe decked up in designer clothes, perfumes, accessories, heavy make up etc just to get his one look ... to lure him to bed ... But Maan was least bothered about what they wore ... what they did etc ... as these things never turned him on! ... It had always been his need as a man to be with them ... nothing more than it!

But strangely today every damn thing related to Geet was attracting him! ... He is actually checking her out ... Closely scrutinizing her every detail ... Without a trace of make up ... clad in simple and non revealing clothes ... no seductive gestures ... no ulterior motives ... just her innocence was arousing him ... prompting him to claim her ... but ...

She was so close yet so far!! ... And he can't cross this line!!!

Contended that now his pain must have lessened, Geet opened her eyes only to find Maan's intense gaze settled on her. She flustered realizing their proximity and was about to move away from Maan when Maan's phone rang.

Maan was still lost in her and hadn't realized that Geet had caught him staring at her. Suddenly his phone's ring broke his trans and he turned to his side to pick up his phone from the table.

A slight miscalculation of timing between Maan turning to pick his phone and Geet trying to move away from him resulted in an accidental kiss!

Their simultaneous movement inadvertently lead to Geet's lips slightly graze his cheek ... It all happened so suddenly that both didn't know how to react!

While the feel of her soft lips had set Maan on fire and here Geet was mortified with fear as well embarrassment to have accidentally kissed her boss ... Maan kept gaping at her while her eyes glued to the ground ... Maan's want to claim her and Geet's attempt to calm the tension ... Maan just wanted to grab her and kiss her senseless ... all his control, restraint and resolve going in for a toss while Geet thinking of ways to escape from here without making it too obvious and create anymore awkwardness!

So the battle begins ...

Two people ... Two mindset ... Two paths!

Different perspective ... Different feelings ... Different wishes!

Nothing in common yet bonded together by Fate
