An old lady opens the door and asks Afreen, "Who have you come to meet dear?" Afreen answers, "Sameera bi" The lady goes, "ok, she has gone out she'll be back soon, come come, sit." The lady makes her sit and excuses herself to get some tea for Afreen. Afreen sits and prays that she achieves her goal. Someone says, "you?" Afreen gets up, it's a lady wearing a blue shalwar suit with reddish hair. Afreen says, "yes, I am Afreen, daughter-in-law of Shahnawaz Khan."
"Acha achha, come, sit" the lady says with a smile and asks why Afreen came. Afreen says, "I came to the dargah here, so thought should drop by and meet you" The lady, who is Sameera bi goes, "You did a good thing dear, no one has ever left this dargah empty handed, whatever is in my life right now, is because of this dargah. Many years ago I had made a mannat, that I shall have a beautiful house, and a very loving husband. And look, I have everything today. You must be thinking what kind of lady am I, upon finding some time I start talking about my love life."
Yes guys, Sameera bi does not know her husband is dead. Afreen thinks, "how should I tell you now that your love story has now ended. Your love, your husband is dead." At old haweli, Masooma is washing her face with water breathing heavily. Her mom comes in, Masooma goes, "ammi, I am very scared, I cant take it anymore. I'm gonna tell, I'm gonna tell" Her mom shakes her, "don't talk nonsense, don't even try telling someone anything even by mistake! Or else, or else we will have many problems. What's between us, should only stay between us. Understand?" Masooma nods and they leave the bathroom.
Afreen is eating food, and she praises Sameera bi's food. Sameera bi's mom says this is the only thing we have in common, or else, we have nothing similar between us. She makes Afreen take more food, "if the food is good, then eat enough and if it isn't then don't give false praises" The lady leaves to see if the almond rice pudding has been prepared. Afreen mutters, "ya Allah, now I have to eat kheer too" Sameera bi smiles, "that's how my ammi is. She is so fond of treating guests, that guests have stopped coming." she leans in, "you wanna hear a secret? Even my husband has stopped coming here a lot because of ammi's guest treatment."
Afreen gets lost in her thoughts. Sameera goes, "you have a bad habit of spacing out. Are you in a big dilemma?" Afreen nods, "yes, I am.." Sameera goes, "if a lady gets lost like this, either her husband is in a problem, or her child. You don't look like a mother, what kind of problem is hope of life takes people anywhere. My husban'd name is Kabir, he is a very loving, honest," Sameera's mom comes in and goes, "will you guys even eat or just keep talking? Come and eat this kheer too" Sameera excuses both of them and takes Afreen to show her a sherwani.

She shows a pic of him and says, "This is my life. Now tell, will it look nice on him? You see this design, every single thing on this has been done by me. It took 6 months for me to make it. But thankfully it is done before our wedding anniversary" Afreen says, "wedding anniversary?" Sameera goes, "Yes, it's tomorrow." Afreen is shocked. Sameera continues, "he will come to pick me up tomorrow and take me home. I wont come here now, I will stay with him now. He is getting old now, he cant be left alone. What if something happens, God forbid."
Afreen is crying, "I cant tell you, I don't have the power to watch your happiness go down the drain." Sameera goes, "I am so selfish, I've been talking about my husband. What were you saying about your husband? Afreen, don't cry, nothing gets solved by crying. Tomorrow we will both pray together that your husband's problem is solved. Now, you go and relax, you are very tired." Afreen says, "you go, I want to be alone for some time. By walking in the open wind, I wanna lighten the weight on my shoulder." And she leaves from there.
Sameera bi prays, "ya Allah, solve this innocent girl's problems!" Afreen is walking outside having flashbacks of Sameera bi talking about her husband, showing the sherwani, etc. *Yeh Hosla song plays, this song was awesome!* Afreen gets to Mazhar who was standing outside his car. She goes "Mazhar, I couldn't even tell her why I came here." Mazhar goes, "what?! What are you saying? We don't have time!" Afreen says, "I know, but I didn't have the guts to give such a happy lady a big shock like this. You know, tomorrow is their wedding anniversary, she has so many armaan in her heart, how should I tell that lady that her husband will never come now? And that my husband killed her husband! Please forgive him! No Mazhar, I am not that heartless."
Mazhar goes, "I understand bhabijaan, how hard this is. Even I don't know how this should be done, but it has to be done. The court hearing is tomorrow morning at 10. We need the maafi nama." Afreen goes, "yes Mazhar, just pray to Allah that he gives me enough courage to face Sameera bi" Mazhar says "have faith in Allah."
Afreen says, "Majboori makes a person do such things…" We see at Sameera bi's house, the mom opens the door to see a man who tells the news about the death. She is shocked, while we see Sameera bi praying. *maula mere from anwar plays here* "Ay Allah, send him to me as soon as possible, Today's day is very important. My prayer is that you always keep him safe. Ameen" Afreen watches this and prays for Allah to give her courage to give Sameera bi the news.
Sameera bi leaves. Afreen looks for her, and when she finds her, Sameera bi is looking outside a window. Sameera bi turns around angrily and slaps her. "Makkar, farebi! How dare you! You have been with me for 12 hours, and you didn't even tell me that he died? You played with my feelings. I just found out.. And I also found out why you came here. You have come to beg for your husband's life?" Afreen cries, "Sameera bi believe me, my husband didn't kill your husband"

Zareen aunty just says, khala I want my Kabir, nothing else. Mr. Khan takes Azaan out of the room. "Any call, any good news from Afreen or Mazhar?" Azaan says, "No news abbu, neither good or bad, not even a call from Afreen"
"Afreen!" Zareen aunty says, "Any call from her? What happened to you all? If Afreen didn't call you should have! At least you could have asked if Kabir got the maafi nama" Azaan tells her to not worry, but Zareen aunty keeps crying.
Azaan says "Ammi, control yourself." Scene splits: Kabir is sitting in jail, depressed, while Afreen is sitting outside of Sameera bi's house crying. At Khan house Zareen aunty is still crying for Kabir. Azaan comes in and tells them to pray that he succeeds. Mr. Khan says, "Azaan, Allah likes honesty, and you are fighting for the truth. Son, insha Allah you will succeed." Azaan then takes leave from Zareen aunty as well, and leaves after telling Mr. Khan that no news from Afreen.
Nadira comes in saying loudly, "so Afreen has still not come with the maafi nama?" Zareen aunty is shocked. Mr. Khan angrily screams at Nadira. Zareen aunty didn't know about he maafi naama not being received. Azaan makes up some excuses and settles Zareen aunty down before leaving. Sameera bi opens her door to see Afreen sitting outside on the steps. She screams "why are you still here? What do you want from me?"
"Maafi nama" says Afreen. But Sameera bi's mom comes and refuses, and says they want revenge, life for life, husband for husband and tells Sameera that she has her qasam, she better not give the maafi nama. She then leaves, and Sameera gives her more tannay, saying would you forgive if you were in my spot, etc. "After Kabir gets killed--" Afreen freaks out. Sameera goes, "Look how your soul shakes when I talk about Kabir dying, and you want forgiveness?"
Afreen says that Kabir is begunna, and, I don't know who Kabir is defending, but I know for sure that one lady will not make another lady a widow. You want to know my wish, my wish is my husband's life, and you have the right to save him. Sameera just stares at her. At the hearing, Azaan makes an entrance as Kabir's lawyer, both lawyers defend their clients. The court waits for maafi nama, while Afreen bawls and begs for Kabirs life. Azaan tells the court the maafi nama still hasn't been brought, and then he gets a phone call and is surprised.
