Rival site:Ram to meet with an accident in Sony TV's Dil Ki Baatein

The upcoming sequence will see Ram being totally shattered and devastated by the demise of his wife. Unable to accept the fact that Anandita is no more, Ram will be seen completely losing control over his mind and emotions. However, audience is in for another shock as a heartbroken Ram will be seen meeting with an accident. It will so happen that Ram, lost in his own grief, will be walking on the road without paying any attention to the vehicles passing by. A truck will hit him leaving him bloodied and unconscious. While Ram fights for his life, his kids will be facing another tragedy as they are completely unaware of the accident!

Thanks for sharing.. Another twist in the tale!! Makers are doing a brilliant job in keeping us guessing.

My suspicion is that this serial they started with Ram and Anandita, only as Cameos or guests.. They never had in mind to continue with them. Now we know one is gone and another soon will be. The main story will revolve around the kids, and the grandfather and mausi etc. This is just a ploy to gain some audience for a new show. They figured without Ram Kapoor etc. the show will not have a good chance to survive, specially, after they had to close so many shows so quickly already. Just my two cents worth. Does anyone agree?

I don't think Ram's role is a cameo since its supposed to be a father - daughter story. I think this accident is a part of the script to take it to the next phase. And yes, well-done to the makers for not making things easy to predict.
